We had rented half day canoe and it was amazing. Our advisor was Amailia and she was friendly and helpful. We have two children 8 and 2 and we wanted to get the most benefit out of our boat rental. We got the canoe based on the advisor's experience but beware caz the canoe is very wobbly and one of our friend's canoe tipped over and they ended up in the water. For our younger one who is very active and adventurous I don't recommend canoe as she wanted to paddle and it was kinda scary to to tip over, However the friends of mine had kayak and my hubby could get a ride with my two years old and it was fun. If you want to ride a kayak be prepared to get wet but this doesn't happen with canoe. Also you might not get a chance to ride your boat in the adventure centre and end up going to Alice lake depending on the tide. You don't need to have gears to rent a boat and they will provide it for you for extra 15$. Overall we had a blast

I spent a fair bit of time online and on the phone researching lesson options in Squamish and eventually chose Sea to Sky Adventure Company. From making phone contact to book a 2 hour lesson specific to my request, to wrapping up after a wonderful 2 hours in a kayak and on a SUP, the experience was top notch!! Cami was amazing, she made me feel comfortable right away. She was patient and her expertise showed as she provided so many helpful paddling suggestions. Highlight of my morning, I didn’t fall off the SUP! Looking forward to booking my next paddle session. Thanks a bunch Cami!!

An amazing service in the Sea to Sky, with great quality gear, knowledgeable staff and a super user friendly hooking system. I was so impressed with sea to sky adventure company and will definitely be using them for my rental needs in the future.

I reached out to Jeff at Sea to Sky as my experience was not positive. No reply after 4 weeks. Here is what I sent him regarding our SUP experience at Crescent Beach: My wife and I rented SUP's from 1 - 3 on the holiday Monday, Labour Day. We paddled toward the pier and beyond, moving quickly because the wind was blowing our way. It was tough going coming back as it was blowing hard, offshore and also into our face. Several times we had to either jump off and simply walk our boards or kneel down to reduce the wind dra. We're both fairly strong and have SUP'ed before. We saw the small inflatable rescue boat make several trips out to pick up SUPers who were far off shore and presumably couldn't get back. Also private boats were picking others up and bringing them along the beach. When we got back and were leaving we told one of the young women working there that they should shut down, that it was no longer safe to rent. I realize this is not her call but management's call. You know, they didn't even warn us about the consequences of the wind. My wife warned a group of three young women who were setting out at 3PM. I don't believe your staff were too impressed with her. She did it out of concern for these women. Do you folks have a policy about cancellation due to weather conditions or a protocol in place to mitigate risk? I'm not too impressed with your practices related to safety. Ross and Laura Woolley

They didn’t respond to my multiple phone calls. When I actually talked to a person they told me to book online, but they didn’t have future booking dates online to book. When I tried to contact them again they would not respond to my voicemails or emails. Equipment is not high quality. I rented single and double kayaks. Had to ask employee questions, comparing to the 5 other places (Tofino, Salt Spring, Granville Island, Jericho, Port Moody) I have rented from, they were the least helpful and friendly. Definitely the poorest communicators. Do not recommend. Go anywhere else.
