Stopped by on route to Whistler. Not a great deal here but really a leg stretch more than anything and just off the sea to sky highway made it easy. Very scenic views over Howe Sound. Great place for camping as there are small coves...More

Porteau Cove is a Provincial Park... It is also a protected Marine Reserve. Perfect place to stretch your legs... Let kids out of the car to see Scuba Divers. Nice and relaxing... Better than Traffic on Sunday Afternoon.

This is a nice stop to see the bay and sea fish and jelly fish from the pier. There are picnic tables if you want to have a break and eat something during your travels. You can walk along the shoreline if you have extra...More

Stopped here on our way from Vancouver to Whistler. Fantastic views. Built to rescue people if the highway becomes blocked. Amazing

Been here a few times, either just to stare out at the water, or take some pictures on the rocks. It only takes a 10 minute stop on your way to Whistler or Squamish to view this beautiful scenery we call home.

Went to Porteau Cove Provincial Park for an annual camping trip with friends. We booked 2 walk-in sites, and 1 large site. The views and park atmosphere were great, and we were never bored. There is always something to do in this area. However, the...More

This is paradise if you can get in. Always full and getting worse. Lots of places to explore. Close to the city if you forget something.

I stopped at this beach and was erroneously expecting a trail to walk. Instead, I went with it and walked half the length of the pebble beach, entering it by rather carefully navigating driftwoods that separate the gravel road leading from the carpark to the...More

I would like to start by saying we are frequent users of this park for a umber of years and have noticed a steady decrease in the attitude of the staff. One can not help but think this starts with the long term employees and...More

The walk in camp sites are terrible. Tiny with zero privacy, no fire pits and no picnic tables. They stick communal areas right beside some of the sites so you get even less privacy. Kids running around constantly make it feel like you pitched a...More

The best would be to call and ask the campsite manager, some lots were larger than other and could accommodate a few larger tents

You can walk around the site no problem, you just won't be allowed to take your car in unless you are staying or visiting a campsite. Head right to the back, there is a small inlet with a great lookout.

Yes. There is a socket for large RVs and trailers for each site. Except the walk-in, no-vehicles sites.
