    A Must do
I am not a fan of heights or traveling up a mountain face in a small box however, I did it and I can say I would do it again. The views are amazing, the bridge is a must see and taking the trails at the top is a nice break before heading back down. We did not eat while in the area as we brought our own snacks but we did get to enjoy the gift shop staff and those that help you get on and off the gondola. Everyone was very kind and helpful and I must say given how many people travel up, the gondolas are very clean and well maintained. If you are a first timer to the area it is one of the “tourist” locations I do suggest everyone visits.

Lovely ride to a spectacular place!
This is one of the most scenic gondola rides I've ever taken. The whole ride lasts for about ten minutes. The beauty of what you can see as the gondola makes its way up the mountain prepares you to all the wonderful things you'll see once you've reached the Summit Lodge. The view from the mountain top is amazing, particularly of the Howe Sound Sea below and the surrounding mountains! There are trails to follow, a panoramic viewing deck, a suspension bridge, a restaurant with a souvenir shop, etc. On your way down, you'll be given the option of either taking the gondola all by yourself (private ride) or taking it with other passengers. Highly recommended!

    Amazing views!
We visited the Sea to Sky Gondola and lookout in August 2023. The gondola ride was great (it was tough to endure due to my fear of heights). Amazing views from the top; however, we didn't have the courage to walk across the suspension bridge. We sat at one of the outdoor tables and had lunch while taking in the spectacular views! We even saw some squirrels scampering around. The meal was lovely, we had the tacos; however it was very very busy and very overpriced! Overall a very good couple of hours spent at the top.

    Spectacular View
This spectacular view from the summit. The ride to the top and back down is amazing. It was a really smooth ride, even with the winds. You can see the Howe Sound below. Riding the gondola was really fun, and once you get to the top, you can walk on the Pilot Bridge or hanging. It was majestic.

Guided Via Ferrata was a great way to get off the main path
We rode the gondola up with a reservation to do the Via Ferrata. The ferrata was a great way to expand on our visit with a hike partway down the mountain, clipping our safety harnesses into the cables and climbing the iron rungs back up to the visitor deck. Our guide, Lorna, was fantastic, describing various aspects of the landscape and flora as we went. She had all of the gear necessary already laid out along with shoe spikes for the icy sections. That saved us having to bring our own gear. If you have climbed a moderate amount, you will find this easy. If you have never rock climbed, this is fun for the family as long as you can tolerate heights. At most we were 30m - 40m off the ground and always safely clipped in. Highly recommend.

    Our Favourite Day
One of the things we did in our entire 2 week trip. Amazing views and beautiful walking trails all around the top. The bridge is so fun to walk across. My 3 and 5 year old also loved that there is a playground at the top. It’s magical up there!

While we had a great weather when visiting nearby Victoria, the weather changed here, although downtown Vancouver was better. It rained all the time, but since I enjoy this plus knowing there will be less people on the roads, we decided to come passing some amazing scenery with stunning mountains to one side, water and islands. This bad weather, despite being early June and only 10 degrees Celsius meant we could easily travel to the top of the mountain, covered in fog, hence could not see anything in the distance:
- many empty gondolas meaning no unruly tourists near us, although a bus full of them arrived as we were about to queue for the gondolas and we could see them running to be in front of us!!! what a joke!
- at the top there is a cafe with warm drinks and foods and very friendly staff
- there is a small bridge, preparing you for Capilano bridge if you are going to visit that, although this smaller bridge made me dizzier than the longer Capilano due to it's stability and bigger weight
- you can walk around the back, as if you are the only person in the world through a short path, if you chose to not return via the bridge
- it can be a bit messy, so make sure you do have the right attire/shoes
- there are also toilets both at the summit and where from you take the gondolas
- there is a large car park and a ticket place if you did not purchase your ticket in advance
I suspect during nice days this place to be simply packed.

An amazing experience, but don't be tempted to buy the $25 hamburgers. They cook them until they are an ashen hockey puck. About 10 minutes past well done.

Views are stunning. However, make no mistake, this is a highly commercial operation! It’s full of gift shops, motorway service style cafeterias etc at the top of the ride. The food up there was terrible and very overpriced!

If you can appreciate the views and the trails, alone, and you don’t mind the hefty price tag for the ticket, go for it!

The views from the top are amazing and you are even able to walk across a bridge connecting the 2 peaks of the mountain at the top. Totally worth a visit if you are in the Whistler/Squamish area!

Spectacular views going up and at the top. The suspension bridge was a nice feature as well. There were multiple trails for walks/hikes with varying intensity. If you've been in the car awhile looking for some exercise try the Sparky Spin loop which has steep downhill and uphill!

I am taking 1 star out because of my onboarding experience. We are a family of 3 and I asked if we can go in our own gondola. The onboarding crew said we have to have 4 people going up. I had previously noticed they would allow family of 3 without any issues in their own gondola. So, my ask was legit, but it was not entertained. So, I didn't quite understand why they would not allow us to have our family gondola experience. We were promised to have our own gondola coming back and that was fulfilled.

Views from the gondola were great!

Stopped here on our way to Whistler. The Gondola ride was great, with amazing views over Howe Sound. Several trails at the top and a short suspension bridge which was fun. Had the added bonus of being able to watch the filmimng which was taking place. Definitely worth a visit.

We had a 2 night stay in Whistler during our recent road trip and didn’t really want to do the gondola ride there so after researching Sea to Sky in Squamish, we decide to take the 45 to 60 minute car journey to do it.
So glad we did - the staff were so helpful and friendly, on the gondola ride we were lucky to have a gondola to ourselves on both ascent and descent. The views at the top are amazing and definitely worth it.
We enjoyed the bridge even though it put me out of my comfort zone, it felt very safe and was great fun to do.
The trails / hikes at the top are well sign posted with times given for each trail.
The coffee shop was well priced and did delicious cakes, you could get hot meals too.
Great day, wonderful staff and a great experience- totally recommend.
We also visited Shannon Falls, you can leave your car in the car park and walk to it - definitely worth the walk

Absolutely despicable customer service over the phone. Outright refused to help me figure out our issue with purchasing a gift card for a business trip for our company.
