The park is free to get in and free to park! It is very accessible; being just a 30 minute drive from Vancouver! The walk is just a few minutes from the car park and therefore no hiking is needed to get to picturesque viewing...More

Such a beautiful waterfall. If physically able, take the added trail up to the 2nd viewing area. Our preschoolers managed it. Parking is very small. We were there in May, and lot was full. Tour buses could make the trail very crowded. I'd avoid a...More

Crystal clear water, gorgeous waterfall. Too cold for us tropical folks to get into the water tho!! Water looks real clean, as if we can drink it directly right there!

Parking is not really sufficient for such a tourist attraction, especially one that is so close to another (Sea to Sky Gondola). There is additional parking on the other side of a main road, crossing using pedestrian traffic lights. The falls though is absolutely amazing...More

I've passed this site dozens of times before on my way to Whistler without ever stopping, but decided to stop here for the first time with my kids. I'm glad I did. The waterfall is a very short walk (maybe 5 minutes) from the parking...More

Just about an hours scenic drive from Vancouver, this is a moderate sized waterfall with well maintained park and trails around it. Compared to Krimmle waterfalls in Europe, Shannon falls are pretty small but still very beautiful sight to look at. There isn’t a lot...More

No signs say you can’t, but I wouldn’t let my kids play in that area. Shallow, cold and rocky.

Yes, you should be able to take a good photo of nearly the entire falls from one of the look off points.
