Well-organized display of airplanes, clothing, instruments, etc., including small planes for small people to ride! On the edge of Victoria International Airport, where British flyers trained for action in World War II.

Having visited several aviation museums I must say that the BC Aviation Museum near my home is well worth the visit. As during previous encounters I have always been amazed by the history that all those volunteers carry with them. It's a clan of fliers, mechanics, service personnel, metal fabricators, upholsterers and of course historians that have intimate knowledge of... More

A nice place to spend a morning or afternoon. Lots of rebuilt vintage aircraft and some in the process of rebuild. Always a knowlegeable person available to answer questions about the aircraft and some history of when those aircraft were used.

It's easy to spend a few hours here as the museum has some terrific and well-labelled exhibits. Both the aviation enthusiast and general public will find something of interest. Easy to access, free parking. Volunteer guides are available to answer explain the exhibits. You can even access the restoration room to see work in progress. There are two large hangers... More

We had lots of time to spare before our flight so we decided to visit this small but ambitious museum. If you are even remotely interested in aviation, you will enjoy your visit and find it worth the $10 admission (especially since it is run by volunteers and much of your fee goes directly into operating the museum). I especially... More

The BC Aviation Museum is very well laid out with lots to see. Aviation enthusiasts of all ages will enjoy the displays and close up view of BC's aviation history. The volunteers are friendly and helpful and the admission is very reasonable. You get your very own tour guide to discuss highlights of the some of the aircraft on display.... More

Having an aviation career means I'm always searching out good museums, and this one fits the bill. It's small but packed with planes & displays. We were met by a young docent who was knowledgeable but not overbearing. He showed us around the (naturally) Canadian-centric displays and then let us wander at will. There's plenty to look at for both... More

Close to the airport, this nice Aviation museum is worth a stop and a couple of hours of your time. $10 CAD entry. Docents will escort you and tell you about the 20 or so planes there

Stopped in here on our way to the airport. My husband is an aviation enthusiast and stopping in on all air museums wherever we are vacationing is obligatory. The staff here was very helpful and friendly. They have some great restorations and replicas. Make sure you say hi to the cat, Marcus. The kids loved him! Thank you BC Aviation... More
