Efficient and friendly staff.
Warm and confortable suit to enjoy the ride without freezing.
We really appreciate the small and fast boat which allows to move fast between various locations and to enjoy a perfect sight.
The driver was excellent for riding, explaining and finding games to watch.
We saw only 2 orcas but the ride between islands was awesome !

Highly recommend Sidney Whale Watching to anyone visiting Victoria. We did not see any whales on our first trip (we went during shoulder season) but had a great time touring around and seeing other wildlife like seals, sea lions, porpoise and eagles. We were able to join a tour the next day (without paying extra!), and saw whales within 15 minutes of leaving the dock. I was very impressed with how respectful they are of the whales - it never felt like we were disturbing or causing stress for the whales. Our skipper Adrian was very knowledgeable about the whale population and local wildlife, and was a great guide. Overall great experience and excellent service from the whole team. We will definitely be back!

The whale watch was great. We saw whales within 1/2 hour of leaving the dock and we’re also taken to other sites to see other animals. The driver Adrian was a great tour guide with lots of info about everything. Well worth the money!

Absolute stunning day from start to finish.

Fun all the way from putting on the suits, to bouncing over the reasonably rough ocean, to seeing two pods of killer whales and a group of harbour seals!! Recommend this to everyone!!!

An excellent experience on the rigid inflatable. Our captain was experienced and very knowledgable. The suits we were given were essential as it was a bit choppy on the water. Not flattering but comfortable and warm although I was also wearing a fleece. The sightings were coordinated with other boats and we saw lots of activity in this vast area. We were given loads of information about the whales and seals we saw and also learnt about the geography of the area. The bouncy ride back only added to the enjoyment. A great experience.

What an amazing experience! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had such a wonderful time on our whale watching excursion. We saw so much wildlife! Orcas, seals, eagles and cormorants to name a few.

Our boat captain and guide Adrian was awesome!
He was incredibly knowledgeable and made the trip really fun. The whole experience was truly exceptional. His respect and passion for the ocean and its inhabitants was very obvious throughout the whole trip.

Would definitely recommend. We were seeing orcas and other wildlife within minutes of being on the Salish Sea.

Such a special day! Thank you!

This was a memorable experience with the guide Adrien. From the beginning he was friendly, helpful, and engaging. I won this amazing charter through a fundraiser and gathered some of my favorite people to go on this adventure. Adrian shared so much brilliant knowledge about the wild life and was a conpelling storyteller. We had a fantastic time and I highly recommend this company to anyone. In under 10 minutes we were watching a pod of transient orcas and got to watch them for quite a while, we also saw seals, sheep, deer, porposes, comorants, eagles, and more. Thanks for the great day!!

This company is extremely unorganized and very unprofessional. The first time we went the water was very choppy and the weather was very windy. It was very cold and a lot of water spray. The boat we were on couldn't go where the whales were. But the other boat could. Our boat had to dock at the Sidney Marina. We had to walk to their office carrying the very heavy suits. The captain said he couldn't take the suits on the boat because he had to go somewhere else. We we were told we could rebook for free as long as there were 5 other paying passengers at that time. We rebooked in person and were told we were set to go as they had other paying passengers. We showed up a half hour before departure and were told we couldn't go as the boat was full with paying passengers. The woman that works there said she called and left a message. Well she called shortly before we left to got there, I didn't pick up. At this point we were really upset with how this company operates. We were told the manager booked two people late the day before and bumped us. We demanded that this be corrected. At this point we thought maybe we should just try to get a refund as we didn't have much faith with this excursion. They offered a discount to two people to take the later excursion. So we went. Very disappointing, we saw one humpback whale from quite a far distance and we had to go past our time of 3 hours to do that. In doing that they ensured that there was a whale siting and didn't have to offer a free rescheduling. We arrived back a half hour later then we should have and missed another appointment we had. This company has no regard for their customers. I highly recommend booking something in Victoria instead.

We went out on an afternoon tour with Adrian, who took us towards Vancouver to see a pod of about 12 Biggs Orcas. He told us all about the difference between the Southern Resident Orcas and the Transient Orcas in the area and we learned so much. It was absolutely amazing. One of the bigger Killer Whales even treated us to a breach which was just the icing on the cake. The journey out to the Orcas past several islands, ferries and even a Nuclear Submarine on a training mission was an adventure in itself. I can highly recommend Sidney Whale Watching. We loved every second of our tour.
