Whale watching, wildlife tours and sea kayaking tours located in the beautiful seaside town of Sidney, British Columbia on Vancouver Island. Our advantages include; calm protected water and the closest departure point to the Resident Killer whale routes meaning more whale time and an average of 30 minutes less travel time then Vancouver or Victoria. We are also at the gateway to the magical Gulf Islands National Park Reserve, less then 5 minutes off our dock and your among one of the nicest cruising grounds on the planet. Family owned and operated for over 15 years, come share our passion for the beautiful region called the Salish Sea.

We chose the 2:00 tour time (we read that it's better to go later in the day so the scouts have a chance to find the whales). We were not disappointed!! Our guide got word of a whale sighting just as we were suiting up,...More

Hi Sarah, Thanks for your amazing review! What luck to have whales show up nearby and be first on scene! We are really happy that you had such a great trip and thank you so much recommending us to others. Thank you, Meghan LeBlanc

Friendly knowledgeable staff made for a great day and, as promised, we saw many orcas as well as 3 humpbacks. Excellent location from Sidney waterfront makes for a quick trip to the orcas feeding grounds.

Hi Dave, Thanks for your review! Orcas and 3 humpbacks all in a 3 hour tour? That's amazing! We are so happy to hear that you had such a good time on your trip. Meghan LeBlanc

We saw several Orcas for over an hour after a short 20 minute boat ride from Sidney. Sidney's central location results in less travel time to the typical Orca locations. The sturdy and fast aluminum boat rode much more comfortably than the zodiac we has...More

Nothing makes me excited as seeing animals in their natural habitat. While out with Sidney Whale Watching, I was lucky enough ho see several lovely orcas, which we observed for about an hour. Loved every second of the trip!

What a perfect location for whale watching. Sidney is the closest to the travel paths so you get to maximize your time on the water. I actually liked being on the Kodiak (or a smaller boat) rather than the big boats from other ports. The...More

Had an excellent time. I believe our captain's name was Dave (?) and he did an amazing job taking us to see two different pods. We saw about nine orcas, and it was an incredible experience to see such beautiful creatures up close. The company's...More

To say my whale watching trip was great is an understatement. The boat was comfortable, and easy to move around on (not to mention, it's a great benefit to have a washroom on board). Although the whales were nothing less than spectacular, the scenery was also...More

This whale watching company is one of several in the Victoria and Sidney region. It is billed as one of the better options because it is located in Sidney closer to the main whale route. Tours from Victoria or Vancouver spend more time travelling which...More

Hi Tassie, Thank you for your review. It is important for us that we hear what our guests think of our trips. It sounds like you were on the zodiac which is much lower to the water and does give a more intimate feeling when...More

No need to worry about the open boats as they are Transport Canada certified and very safe. All whale watching vessels in Canada and the USA follow the "whale wise" guidelines and mandated by law to stay 100m away from the... More
