We had a fabulous experience. Our guide had an exceptional knowledge about the orcas. They came up really close to our boat! We had to catch a ferry after the tour and they started the tour earlier so we could participate in this tour!

My first tour was in late October of last year, pretty late in the season to see Orca's but we were lucky enough to see Humpback whales and the Steller sea lions which was very exciting! I recently went on my second tour in mid May and we had an incredible day with the resident Orca pod's J and K.... More

We had an excellent time on the ocean chasing down whales, sea lions and other wild life. The crew did a fantastic job and it was a successful chase. We saw Big Momma (Humpback whale) and her baby, a bunch of seal lions, and a couple pods of Orcas. Mike (our guide) worked hard to find the Orcas and that... More

This was our second time out with Sidney Whale Watching as they guarantee whale sightings or take you out again at no charge. We went very early in the season (Day 1) and didn't see any but had a wonderful trip regardless. We saw many other sea animals as well as had a great tour of all the surrounding islands.... More

A great experience. We were lucky enough to meet the j pod near Sidney and were able to spend 2 full hours with the pod of 28 orcas before heading in.

Booked a trip for 1:30,Sunday, April 17th but got a call in the morning from Mike suggesting we re-schedule for the next day as they hadn't been able to find any whales that morning. Good for them to not take us out for a boat ride when there was little chance to find whales. We re-booked for Monday and sent... More

We spent the afternoon whale (humpback) watching in the Victoria area on top of viewing other sea creatures such as stellar seals, another kind of seal, and other various wildlife in the air and on islands we cruised closed to. We appreciate the boat operator Dave's efforts to find suitable creatures and places to view along the way. On the... More

We paid, suited up for the trip...and in the small boat there were only 6 of us. Totally sprayed by sea water but then how dreamlike.. Pods of Orcas. A baby jaundice orca , mom and dad we saw.. Salmon smell in the air as the pods were feeding. A FANTASTIC boat / guide whom was also a student. She... More

Dream like, I like the description and totally agree. Thanks for the comments and we like to keep the group sizes nice and small so you get lots of interaction with our naturalist/guides (it was Amanda with your tour). Thrilled that you enjoyed your time with us. More

Although my visiting family went at the tail end of the season, the owners did their best to find them some whales to see. My sister and her husband and adult kids saw humpbacks but no orcas but it was a great time out on the water.

They dialed up calm seas, ideal weather, awe-inspiring sightings of the Pods, and the many playful Orcas that recognized our Zodiac. We were able to listen to and be thrilled by the whales that swam up to and under our boat because of our knowledgeable Guide, especially when he pointed out the famous leader Mike. It was truly a magical... More
