Peaceful, picturesque views

Beacon Park is so scenic and peaceful. You can find a spot to sip a coffee and enjoy the flowers and ocean view. Many picturesque statues and views.

Endless trails

There are endless trails to explore. There are probably more wild places in the park than manicured spots. I

Lovely waterfront park
Feb. 2020
We visited on a gorgeous day. Sun was shining, lots of people were out on the rocky beach and walking. Some people were looking for sea glass. A wedding took place in the band shell, reception was held in the hotel bordering the park. We saw a seal by the dock and lots of sea birds.

lovely to stroll
Oct. 2019
Before or after you eat at one of the many good restaurants nearby, take a ramble along the boardwalk and around this park. There are concerts here occasionally (a cute amphitheatre has been built), the sea is always in view and there is a variety of intriguing sculptures. My only wish is that city planners add to the collection to keep visitors and art lovers coming back for a new view.

A high quality attraction
Sep. 2019
We arrived on the ferry, dropped off our suitcases at the Beacon Inn, had lunch, and then walked along the lovely sea walk. Our eyelids were drooping. So we ended up in Beacon Park and discovered Adirondack chairs places out on the lawn for anyone to use. And so we did. As the chairs put us in a reclining comfort, we took a very fine 15-20 minute nap. And then we kept walking, so others could enjoy the chairs. Suggestion: There need to be many more chairs. I took a photo of the pirate statue, which is very interesting. There are other works of art, as well.

Ocean side beauty
Aug. 2019
We rode bikes through Beacon Hill park and throughout the Oak Bay area. Spectacular views along the border of the park as it sits over the ocean. Cycling paths along the main road make it easy to cycle through. The park itself offers lots of beautiful walking paths, ponds and rest areas. Beautiful homes and neighobourhoods line the entrance into the beautiful landscape of the city.

Missed the Moss Lady
Aug. 2019
This is a beautiful park and across the road is the sea. You can't beat that. My daughter and I walked to the park from the Hotel Grand Pacific. It's an easy walk. We saw a few peacocks on our way and many ducks in a pond. I had a map, but it wasn't the best and I couldn't find the Moss Lady I wanted to photograph. If there were signs pointing the way, we missed them. We did find the tallest totem pole in the world and then walked across the road to the sea. That was a spectacular walk, with many benches along the way. The Tour de Victoria was going on at the same time, so it was nice to clap for the riders as they came by. Very nice morning!
