We had the best experience with Bucktail Adventures! We took our young kids on a fishing charter that beyond exceeded our expectations. Not only did we watch our kids catch their first fish ( and many more after ) Jason included them in all aspects of the experience. He was thoughtful in answering endless questions and keeping it fun and engaging for them. We will for sure book again!

Always a fun time on the Bucktail Adventures boat! I've fished spring summer and fall with them! There's a variety of fish to target and lots of fun to be had

If anyone tells you it’s hard to catch fish on the Shuswap, they are doing it wrong. (Or at least with the wrong guide)

Jason picked us up on Shannon Beach right on time and we fished around the Narrows for a half day. We caught a number of Rainbow and a few Kokanee.

Coffee is hot and Jason has great stories. (be sure to ask about the mermaid!) His boat is first class as is the equipment. He knows how to put you onto fish. (even cleaned them up and put them on ice)

Thanks for a great day.

WOW! Where to start...
We contacted Jason of Bucktail Adventures in hopes of a short notice guided fishing trip in Sicamous. Not only did he fit us into his busy schedule, he happily accommodated our 3 generations: 4 inexperienced adults and two very excited kids. Jason made our day! Our family memories that will long be remembered.
Jason was welcoming, relaxed, extremely knowledgeable, engaging, positive and enlightening. It was easy to see that fishing is a sincere passion of his.
His boat is well equipped with top of the line, up to date equipment and is immaculate and in beautiful condition. We were treated to a comfortable, warm, enclosed cabin on our chilly morning, complete with a private toilet for the ladies!
We could not have been happier with the effort that Jason put in trying to get us the perfect match of location and gear. He did not disappoint us in anyway.
I would give Jason the highest rating possible and we will absolutely be calling him on our next trip.
If you are looking for a positive experience complete with great memories, give Bucktail Adventures a call. You will be glad you did.
Best wishes Jason and THANK YOU for a fabulous day.

A friend and I took my two girls fishing with Jason the week of July 16th. We had a great time, Jason came prepared to try for Kokanee in order to give the kids some additional action, and he did not disappoint. Six Kokanee hooked, along with two Rainbow trout, two Lake Trout, and what we like to call a "rodfish" (shenanigans ensued, lots of fun and a great story). Jason was a fantastic host, very personable and knows his stuff. We'll definitely be fishing with Jason again!

Hands down the BEST fishing charter I have ever been on!

The boat is a one of kind, and all the gear is top of the line, so any time you spend on board will be spent in world class conditions.

Yes we caught fish (which was the highlight), but spending the time with Jason Bellows (owner/operator) was an added bonus.

A Sportsman, and life long resident of the Okanagan, Jason's knowledge and passion for legal/regulated fishing and sustainability, gave us valuable insight about the need for conservation, and what it means to this local ecosystem.

Watching this master at his craft, was truly an unforgettable experience.
