This is a must stop! Go earlier in the day if you want bakery items (and I do recommend the bakery items!) as they sell out throughout the day. Tons of local grocery items, fresh produce, ice cream, baked goods, etc! Plus pick up some animal snacks to feed the animals in the petting zoo!

Visited from Coldstream so not far. The market has EVERYTHING! Right now there’s FRESH from California grower oranges & fresh local asparagus. The Artisan Gift Market collective has so many beautifully hand crafted items be prepared to do your Christmas shopping! Last but not least, have the BEST burger at The Yukon Smash burger truck, you won’t be disappointed.

We were east bound on this trip, when driving into SA, you can't help but notice DeMille's on the RHS. Stop in and check it out. So much to see and buy. Many locally produced items. Prices seem reasonable. Plenty of parking. Some stuff here you won't see anywhere else. Stop in.

Best selection we saw in town for produce on our trip. They carry lots of local items too which we liked! We got a bag of ginger gold apples which was a new crop to the area. We walked around but didn’t go into the petting zoo. Great spot for produce!

Not everything is open at this time of year (market stalls), but me and my son still had a great time. $2 for some animal feed. The baby goats were so cute!
They even have a nice little liquor store here.

Love this placed. I stop every time I am in the area. Even had driven all the way from Calgary for a few days, just to buy from this market. Everything is always good and fresh. Staff is always helpful and friendly.

Met a friend for coffee and was pleasantly surprised. A good selection of bakery items. Outside seating to sit under an umbrella and enjoy your coffee. Produce is also available. Parking is no issue, even room for your RV.

We like stopping here, but the last time we stopped I decided to peruse through the petting zoo area. While mostly decent, I noticed one of the large birds had toenails that were so overgrown he was compensating while walking. That says to me that those nails have been overgrown for quite some time. I hate to see a display of improper animal care and it has since changed my opinion of the market.
One thing that always turns me away from supporting a business is how they care for the individuals on their property, animals just as much as customers and employees.

We always stop at DeMille's market on our way through Salmon Arm to get Kurt's sausages. While there, we have occasionally picked up some vegetables. However, we have had very mixed success. Three times we were deceived. Once was at Christmas, when we discovered that all of the brussell sprouts we purchsed in a sealed bag were rotten inside. The second was at a family dinner, when the beans we bought (again in a sealed bag) were so dry that we could not eat them. On our last trip through two days ago, I puchased two 10 pound boxes of blueberres, only to discover that they were all mushy and wet underneat the first layer. So - buyer beware!
