Please be very careful as there a big bear in the area. Me and my friends parked in the small parking area and went down a narrow road towards the river. We were just 2min from the parking lot when we heard a loud roar. It sounded like a very angry bear. We ran back right away. So please avoid the area for now to avoid confrontation as bears are getting ready for hibernation. I have been to this falls in May 2018 and my experience was awesome.

This is a little of the beaten track but well worth the time taken to get there, do your research and make sure that you get good directions "Drive North to the Moses Falls parking area on the Westside Road, past the dump 6.1 km from the Hwy 23 South intersection". Short walk from the car park not too difficult and well worth it. Go all the way down to the river and you can see the dam as well.

No one wants you to know about this spot!—so if you go, be respectful, clean and courteous to others on the trail. It's a short downhill walk (on the road) or scramble down a hiking path, to the edge of the Columbia. You can see the dam outflow and the waterfalls here, which run big and small depending on the time of year

I enjoyed these falls alot. There's a little area surrounding the falls to explore, either going up or down them. I also liked that they were a bit quieter than other smaller stops in the Revelstoke area. There were only a couple people who stopped by when we were there on a Wednesday afternoon.

I have been to Revelstoke over a half dozen times and had never heard of this beautiful waterfall that is not well signed or promoted. You have to turn into the little gravel parking lot before you even see a sign that acknowledges its existence. Once in the parking lot you follow a small slightly steep trail to the left, crossing a dirt road and continuing into the trees. This short trail leads to the upper falls and then down to the lower (which are more spectacular). This trail is steep and tricky in sections (would be difficult when wet). For an easier route you can supposedly follow the dirt road down below the lower falls (but we did not try that route). We had ages 12 - 49 and made out OK. We encountered nobody else during our time there in mid-August, perfect. To get there, follow Westside road from Hwy 1 for about 8-10 km, parking lot is on the right.

This is a great little spot if you like waterfalls and exploring. Great place to take pictures and easy to access if you take the road down and then walk up from the bottom. If you use the small trail at the top you could face some issues if you don’t have great balance. Pack a lunch and enjoy it by the river after.

Definitely check out Moses Falls. 10 minute hike (or walk) to the falls. Keep walking down the path as there is 2 sets of falls. Spectacular falls right off the side of the road.

This is a hidden gem just on the edge of Revelstoke. It's a relatively short hike from the parking area to the falls, but do yourself a favour and wear some good shoes as the trail is a bit steep at times. Once you get to the falls, the trail continues alongside the path of the falls, taking you from the upper falls areas all the way down to where the water meets the Columbia River. As with the initial trail, it's steep at times, but there are plenty of natural footholds among the rock and trees to help you down. This is a very doable hike and you will be rewarded with beautiful scenery, especially if you like falls.

not a well known waterfall, but as pretty as you'll ever find. water cascades down large rocks and over a log jam into a small pool which pours into the larger falls below. spectacular views are available from all over.

There is a gravel parking lot before the bridge. You can walk from there down a small path to another road. The easy way to the bottom of the falls is to walk that road. There is a very steep, somewhat treacherous trail you can also take to the top of the falls and then down along the side of the falls. A third option for high-clearance vehicles is to continue driving past the gravel lot to a dirt road just before the bridge. It is very rutted with deep ruts. It you can drive down the road it takes you to a small parking area from which you walk up to the falls a short ways.
