Sad to see the equipment rotting away and not being restored. The model trains were not running, and most exhibits are locked up. They need to restore some of the equipment before they fall apart.More

Thank you for your review! We're sad to hear that you found our museum to not be up to par. Unfortunately our model train is run by an independent club, so it is only running when club members are visiting. What pieces of equipment do...More

Thanks for your review! You must have caught the only rainy day all summer, but we're you glad you spent it at the museum.

Great to see the inside of the two trains in the museum. Many small towns have railway museums and this really distinguishes it. We didn't spend as much time there as I would have liked but what we saw was great.

The price was very reasonable at $22 for a family. There was a lot to look at but it wasn't overwhelming or cluttered. The bathrooms were clean which is always nice. The model train setup was nice but there were no trains running when we...More

We're glad you decided to visit our museum! Because the model railway display is run by the Revelstoke Model Railway Club, we can only have trains running when one of their members is available. We hope you get a chance to visit again when the...More

Have been several times. The kids love going and checking out the model train exhibit in particular. It's a really nice layout, with lots of history of the railway and area. Definitely worth the time.

They've done a good job of fitting a lot into a relatively small space (the building isn't small, but most of it is taken up by the train engine and car). There's a ton of information to read and a good deal of items from...More

My toddler loves trains. The museum has various train cars that you can climb in & explore. We spent 30 minutes explorong the different cars.

Thank you so much for your review! We strive to present the most complete information we can. We're glad you enjoyed our rolling stock, though this is the first time we've heard it called the train graveyard; it's a fitting name!

We recommend at least an hour but it can take up to 2 hours, or more, if you take in all the exhibits, ride the simulator, talk to an engineer, and watch the film in the theatre. You can also bring a picnic lunch and enjoy... More
