Nice collection of "old" forestry equipment - trucks, saws etc. It is located next to Revelstoke Dam. Nice for a quick stop.

The forestry museum is located on the edge of Revelstoke, near the dam. We paid it a visit last week during our stay in this fantastic little town. Entrance is free, but the museum ask for a donation on entry. I love this kind of place when travelling. It contains so much history of the local area. The information boards... More

Came across this on our way to the Revelstoke dam. Weren't sure what to expect but the 3 year old boy loved running around the trucks and my ham radio buff was pleased to find a display in the tower.

This is licated just above the dam and is very cool stop, some very intersting pieces and the staff are very friendly and knowledgable. The place was upgrading the area and will be worth stopping in again. Donations is you admision.

I'm not usually one to enjoy something like this (the car park is full of old forestry machinery), but it's actually very interesting. The sheer size of the equipment is staggering. The museum is a good size, and the information presented not overwhelming. They provide a good sense of what it must have been like to work in the industry.... More

A small but very informative display. The staff were very knowledgable and our understanding of forestry management was increased tenfold. A great insight into one of Canada's greatest assets.
