Explore an inland Ancient Old Growth Rainforest, just East of Revelstoke, while traveling on the Trans Canada Highway! A great way to spend an hour, stretching your legs, after a long car ride and take in the amazing energy of the Giant Cedars!

Keep an eye out for this place because it would be easy to drive right by. That would be a mistake, however. This well maintained boardwalk trail wonders around through old growth rainforest. It's a soothing meander, not a difficult hike. However, be aware there...More

We took a break here from our drive. The board walk was well built and easy to walk on with railings all the way.

I'm pleased we took time to explore this at the end of the day as it's well worth it. The broad walk loops round a section of the forest and there are lots of information boards full of very interesting facts. Took some stunning photographs.

Hello, can you visit this place before or after hours? We are planning to leave Revelstoke around 5-6AM and want to visit this on our way to Jasper. Can we leave the car there and visit the park?

I think Parks Canada has specific hours that they may enforce but if you have the daily visitor pass for the National Parks and you parked at the entrance, it's a very short walk to the trail. The trail takes about 20... More

Keep in mind this attraction is probably closed until late spring due to snow. You are supposed to have a national park pass or you pay the day fee which is about $20 if the park staff are manning the station. If they are... More
