Try and go when the new gallery opening event is on. It happens every month! This is such a great gallery and the community garden and bee sanctuary is right out front.

I absolutely love visiting this gallery! The exhibitions change every month so there's always something new. Plus they have the best gift shop in town filled with origional, local art.

The RVAC's ever-changing exhibits are interesting every time. If you're lucky to time your visit with an opening, enjoy meeting the artists as well as wine and snacks! Family-friendly with gardens and picnic tables, too. Buy a piece of local art to take home and if you're staying in Revelstoke a while, check out RVAC's classes and artist workspaces.

Some really nice art works by local artists. Pick up a hand piece of pottery or a wood hand crafted table etc.

The art work that is on display is awesome. There is thought in the displays and a fine showing of talent. There is quite a variety of styles and mediums. Well worth a visit.

The centre itself is a great facility and has some awesome events for such a small town. The thing that ruins the experience is that you are not allowed any food or drink in the seating area. When you go to a comedy show or to see a movie, it's nice to have some refreshments at the same time and not have to wait for intervals to get something and then have to rush it before you go back in.

Not many communities of this size have their own dedicated arts centre but Revelstoke has an active community of artists. The Centre is a bit hard to find but is located not too far off the Trans Canada Highway. It is worth a visit to see what art is on display. Entrance fee is by donation.
