Beach walks

Spectacular tidal beach for long walks. Dogs can roam free on the beach except for the Brant goose Season. Ck dates if important.

A lovely walk along the beach path then through the trees. Beautiful scenery across the Straits of Georgia looking towards the mainland. Fabulous place to camp wether in a tent ⛺️ or motor home. Nice, private campsites among majestic trees. Good facilities for showering etc. Ideal place for families.

Amazing sights to see where ever you wander. Worth seeing at both low tide, and high tide! There is plenty of room for the kids to run around and fuel for their imaginations while the parents can enjoy the serenity of the peaceful atmosphere. Will return again and again!

This local park is really outstanding. One can walk out for 1km when the tide is out. Perfect for children. The trails around the park are many. Views are magical.

Beautiful seaside/forest walks, great beach area for families with kids. A section of the beach front has just been rehabilitated offering much better access. Excellent camping but check on RV hook-ups--there may be none.

One of the best beaches on the east side of Vancouver Island. Great tides and beach to walk on. Sadly dogs have to be on a leash - Bird life

We love this beach area as we have camped there over the years when our children were young, walked and visited in all the other seasons but went today, first of the NY and a brisk winter day. Love that dogs are welcome leashed and not allowed on the beach. That way we didn't step in any poop and there... More
