We have camped here every summer for 25 years. The park is well run, has lovely, clean washrooms with hot showers (and clean outhouses, too), the biggest and best beach area, a great kids play park, lots of recycling bins, is quiet at night, is close to stores... can't say enough nice things about it! Looking forward to our visit... More

I love Rathtrevor Beach - the Provincial Park is lovely too but mostly packed with RV's/trailers - not much 'camping' in the traditional sense....we watched a 50ft 5th wheel manuever into a campsite that was not big enough - lots of generator noise (although restricted to certain times - not enough staff off season to monitor the restrictions).....I guess this... This is a nice beach to walk along with some short trails. The beach is undergoing some vegetation to ensure the shore is protected.

A fabulous beach to explore - easy access to great driftwood and lots of bird life including red headed woodpeckers.

Beautiful beach, especially when the tide is out and you can walk for hours if you choose. Nice wooded walking/biking trail that parallels the shore as well.

Whether it is low or high tide this beach provides an awesome view, pleasant walking or just a great place to sit and watch the world go by. Now the seawall has been removed and the area made to be more natural it will be interesting to watch the changes along the shoreline. At a low tide the water can... More

Gorgeous beach - very quiet and clean when we visited in April. Wear shoes over the rocky/gravel parts of the beach as it's covered in coral. Nice woodlands to walk through as well.

If you are looking to get back to nature in a beach setting this is a great spot to do it. Tons of trees and natural green space, huge, long beach (check tides for best times). Gorgeous view. Great, basic campground. Minimal amenities - bring what you need. Just nature, you and the tons of other people who share the... More
