20 minutes from downtown Nelson and part of the powder triangle. If it's a good season elsewhere in the province, it will be an excellent season at Whitewater. Although it is a small hill, there are many challenging runs and some of the best powder...More

Not much of a hill with lousy access and drivers that think they own the road. seriously it;s not worth taking your life in your hands to access this small town hill.

Whitewater is truly authentic. Simple, basic, but you will only find passionate people about what they are doing. Definitely not a place for beginners, but a good place to learn powder skiing and off-piste.

The snow was absolute crap but I refuse to rate a ski resort on the snow quality of the day I went. The lodge is very cute with lots of table space and a GREAT London Fog. They have a wide variety of runs and...More

Ski slopes have a generous amount of snow, 3 chair lifts, that have a variety of terrain. Enough groomed blue runs for the intermediate skier who doesn't want bumps, but known for the snow, black diamond runs and skiing the trees. The lift prices rack...More
