What an amazing trip. It was a trip of a lifetime. We caught 11 sturgeon on an 8 hour outing including 6'11", 7'10' and an 8'4'. True to its name we started with a double header!

Radek is an great guide and all around nice guy. Extremely knowledgeable. Great boat and he keeps it so nice and clean you can tell its well maintained.

Radek is a true pro at what he does. Had a great day of fishing with my son. Full day of fishing for some big fish other boats struggled with hat same day, they where calling Radek for advise. We Landed 7 fish and what a rush. Guarantee to catch fish with Radek.

5 days fishing for salmon and sturgeon on the Harrison and Frazier rivers. Despite no rain for nearly 3 weeks the fishing was good for us, but apparently poor for the area. Averaged about 4 decent fish a day but could have had more if we focused on the sturgeon more. Area is stunning with constantly changing vistas and panaramic views. Radek our guide was a really nice guy, constantly searching for the best spots and trying different methods to vary the fishing. I would probably mix up the locations splitting this trip with Vancouver island but this in now way detracts from the effort and attention to detail from Radek . Very informative and interested in our fishing experiences we got value for our money - highly recommended if you want that once in a lifetime fishing trip. Make sure you do the mission brewer hub for their coffee, lemon and traditional beers ! Enjoy it all - we did!

I traveled to British Columbia from the UK for a week of salmon fishing on 9th September 2017.

I had heard that the fishing was good, however I was in no way prepared for the incredible time that I had.

My party of 3 met with Radek Hanus (Head Guide and owner) of Double Header Sport Fishing on Sunday 10th September to finalize plans for the week, based on the latest fishing conditions. We were also able to sneak in 5-6 hours of salmon fishing following the meeting, which Radek was more than happy to host.

Over the next 6 days we had a truly awesome time, catching more salmon than a number of UK rivers would produce in a year!

The team at Double Header are exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble and there goal is clearly to make sure that the sports angler has a great time.

Their knowledge of the waters on which they operate is second to none; we fished the Fraser, Pitt and Harrison rivers, catching pink, coho and even sturgeon. Unlike some guide companies, these folks hunt out the fish and aren't worried about burning some fuel to get you to where you need to be.

Methods that we found successful were jig (a method I was unfamiliar with) and fly. I would recommend that if you are planning to fly fish that you take some real heavy tips with you to get down to where the fish are.

You also need to check out the fly patterns and colours before going to make sure that you go suitably prepared, although Radek will provide all your kit, flies and jigs if required. Flies need to be heavy and I suspect that some real heavy tube flies (single and barbles) would work.

Most waters are crystal clear and can be covered using a #7 single handed rod, although the Harrison does offer the ability to Spey cast from the bank/off the gravel bars.

If you go to BC you really need to contact Double Header Sport Fishing .... and you really do need to fish BC!!!

We used Double Header Sport Fishing and man we weren't disappointed! Great fishing experience and a great company to use. Radek our guide sure knows how to fish for these monsters! We went for an 8-hour trip and we caught six for the day. The biggest being about 77 inches and about 210lbs. We caught 2 other big ones that day too. A trip of a lifetime and certainly something everyone should do if you are an avid angler.

My friends and I recently chartered two guides/boats with Double Header out of MIssion and had an amazing time!!! This was our seventh annual fishing derby and the best one so far, thanks to Raddick and Ryan. They are experts in what they do and provided us with more opportunities to catch sturgeon than we could handle. A great day on the water and would highly recommend this outfit to anyone interested in amazing fishing with professional guides.

Well what can I say, a great fishing trip, a big tick off my bucket list,
Radek the owner operator of this outfit is friendly, knowledgeable, funny and most importantly he put you to where the fish are. I had booked two days of solo charter with him and never had a dull moment( you have to be a keen fisherman to understand this). And his boat is well set up, fast ( a 6 lt. V8 coupled with the famous NZ Hamilton Jet), going up river to the fishing ground in a very good speed. Last day at the last hour before the day end, we caught a 78 inches Sturgeon. A good effort to end the trip.
Highly recommended.

This was the fishing trip of a life time and it was all thanks to Radek. He is incredibly friendly and easy going and was critical to having an awesome experience. We booked an 8 hour charter in the middle of the week and split the day fishing the first half for pink salmon and the second half for sturgeon.

We had an incredible and sunny day which just added to it. Radek took us to some of the best spots and we immediately had bites for the Pinks and quickly caught our limit. We proceeded to turn some of them into bait for the sturgeon and off we went. Radek's skill helped us to track down the sturgeon and hook them! We finished the day catching an 84 inch, 100 kilo monster. Would highly recommend.

I was part of a group of 4 fishers new to sturgeon fishing and we were thrilled with our experience.

The day flew by as we caught eleven sturgeon during the 8 hour trip. Radek's professionalism and knowledge of the sport was fantastic, and I hope to book a trip out with him again. He worked his tail off all day refreshing the bait and relocating whenever a spot wasn't delivering.

Booking the trip was easy and he was quick to respond to our emails. He met us at the Mission Boat Launch on time and let us fish until the final battle was over (even though it meant we were on the water past the end time of our trip).

Thank you for an awesome experience of a lifetime!
