- Cathy CWest Kelowna, Canada122 contributionsWonderful!During a week long trip to the Columbia Valley I played at Copper Point three times: once at The Point (solo) and twice at The Ridge (with friends). This was my favourite golf experience ever. To begin with, the Pro Shop staff noticed that my single booking at The Point happened to be with a group of 11 men from out of town, and Shelly rightly deduced that I (a high handicap female visitor) would have a better experience playing with people who were familiar with the course. She paired me with the nicest couple ever and I had a wonderful day. (Thank you Judy and Richard). The staff at the ball drop area are all very helpful getting you set up on your cart and showing you around (thank you Pontus) and even at the driving range, a kind member bought me some extra practice balls. That’s the kind of place this is: welcoming! The Point is a spectacular long course in beautiful condition. It is challenging but rewarding and the scenery is beautiful. The Ridge is shorter (all par 3s and 4s) but certainly not a walkover. It’s also in great condition with beautiful views and is a very fun course to play for people like me. My friends (who are better golfers than I) all loved it too. The only reservation I have about Copper Point is that they use gas fired golf carts. Everything else was outstanding. I will definitely be returning and if I lived in the area I would become a member as soon as possible.Visited June 2022Travelled with friendsWritten June 19, 2022
- Global721904San Jose del Cabo, Mexico2 contributionsGreat ExperienceDon't often write reviews however this is special. Can't say enough about this Golf Course. It was truly a fantastic experience. We were on a Golf Week, Golden, The Springs at Radium, Eagle Ranch, Greywolf & Copper Point (The Point). All the courses were in great shape and the weather cooperated. I am 66 and have played a lot of Courses both in BC and Arizona. For me it is not just the condition and Layout of the golf course, although that is important, to me it is the overall experience and value for my dollar. Copper Point exceeded all expectations and made our trip a memorable one. From check in to departure it couldn't get any better. From the Staff in the Pro Shop to the Cart persons, Driving Range Staff and Starter to the Server on the Patio. The Pro Shop staff asked if we were seniors then gave us a Discount and told us how glad he was that we picked Copper Point to play. The Course was in great shape and pace of play was good. My wife happened to get a Hole in One on #7 and some one told the Marshall. He came along and got my Wife's name and spelling and when we finished the Pro Shop staff congratulated her and presented her with a Flag, a free gift card for a round in the future and took her picture for their website, we then went on the Patio for Beverages and they gave her a free Beer. In a word Copper Point is all "CLASS" Thank You Jeff KendyVisited September 2021Written September 18, 2021
- Waelchli1 contributionKICKASS BRUNCHWe were expecting a buffet style setup when we arrived because they advertised Brunch, which makes you think of buffet, but brunch actually means breakfast and lunch combined, so it was all a la carte. The six of us all ordered something different from the menu and we were all blown out of the water with the plates that arrived at our table. Cream cheese french toast, eggs Florentine, smoked salmon rosti, surf and turf poutine, classic eggs benedict, and a chicken pesto panini. We all ended up sharing and sampling each others food and they were all excellent and beautifully presented. Our waiter was quite a knowledgeable guy and provided top notch service. If you're looking for a great Sunday Brunch, the View At Copper Point is the place to go.Visited December 2019Written January 6, 2020

Over the years we always had good food at Copper Point Golf Club Restaurant.
Today we enjoyed the Steak Sandwich and the good service from Riley.
We will be back again soon.

The course was in okay shape since it was only May. The problem I had was with the Marshals as they are rude and not realistic. We played in 3hrs and 50 min with a foursome and were asked twice to pick it up. I have played Copper Point several times over the years and it seems like this is the way they want the course marshals to operate. Can honestly say this will likely be my last visit.

Early in the season so the fairways were rough but the greens were in good shape although not ready. We found The Ridge very difficult as we had to keep the cart on the cart path so lots of walking and there are lots of steep hills. The Point was a little easier and we were allowed on the grass after the first four holes which made it better. The Restaurant has lovely views of the course and the mountains with a good menu. We had the steak sandwich one night and the Korean Flatbread another night, both were really good. The staff are super friendly and made us feel very welcome.

I have played this course several times over the years going back a decade or more and I am never disappointed with the condition of the course which is immaculate or the challenge that it offers. The staff are great as well. Very eager to assist and serve. Beautiful driving range. A wide range of tees to play from. Bunkers in great shape. Fairways are like carpets. Highly recommend this course.

Golf course is in top shape. Fairways are fantastic and greens are fast. Round was aittle slow, with no evidence of marshals on the course. 10/10.
Food and beverage is dire. Very little on-course non alcoholic refreshments available. At the half way shack, snack choices were limited to a quite disgusting "smokie". Ugh! Zero out of ten.

Disappointed - 5+ hour round - course blamed it on Juniors practising for a 2 day tournament- never saw Marshall the whole round & delays ahead of us seemed to be a group goofing around vs practising. A 2nd disappointment - went to go into clubhouse after our round (finally finished abt 8:15) & were told - they had had a busy day & weren’t serving anymore. Not a good impression. Course decent but sand poor - gravelly.

Beautiful course, restaurant was fantastic. The starter was immediately rude and gave us a hard time about pace of play very quickly into the round. I believe his name was Ron. We chose to play the shorter course on a quiet day to avoid pace issues, and we let a quicker twosome play through to speed up the pace. Incredibly frustrating to feel rushed through a round simply because of starter on a power trip. Other than Ron, great experience at copper point!

Enjoyed Executive Golf course and the weather was warm we had a solid reunion with our friends. The survey did not require 200 minimum characters. Thanks for the opportunity to make my comments. . We will rethink the survey exercise in the future.
