The tunnels look great but they are closed in the winter. You can still walk up to the tunnels and there is a loop route but it's quite deep snow.

Best kept secret from those who live in the area. A place to take visitors. Bring a flashlight for the tunnel walk. Local history on display.

Didn’t get a lot of time to spend here but it’s a very interesting place and the tunnels are well worth a walk through. Impressive how they’ve been carved out of the sheer cliffs.

We did loop trail, starting with the tunnels and continue through hill and forest. It was a bit slippery in steep parts because of the snow and we were first people who did hike in the forest, we didn´t see any other footprints. But the...More

A must-see if you visit Hope. The walk and tunnels are stunning. We visited in the autumn and the colours in the late afternoon were simply magical. Would recommend taking a torch or using that feature on your phone as some of the tunnels are...More

The tunnels are 'officially' closed for the winter (not sure of the exact months) but if you're adventurous, the left side of the first gate has a fairly easy climb around (done it).
