Kicking Horse has attracted rave reviews after just seven seasons for its awesome vertical, deep powder and spectacular terrain mix. With an express gondola accessing over 4100 ft (1260m) of vertical, you’re bound to ski and ride an impressive feat of terrain comparable to only that of heli-skiing. Coupled with summer activities such as mountain biking, wildlife education, and alpine sightseeing, this is a place where the stories are almost too tall to believe.

This area is absolutely gorgeous! I haven't been for ski season yet(am going next month and will update), but the summer I spent here was amazing. Hiking, wildlife, water sports, food, friendly locals, beautiful accommodations. This area is beyond any other mountain resort location I have ever been too. The downfall is the 2-3 hour drive from Calgary airport to get... More

Had a great time last summer with my co-worker. Tried rafting for the first time and our guide (Sam) was very entertaining and we had a lot of fun. I will definitely come back here

We are season pass holders... but this Christmas we brought my family up for a week of skiing. My mom opted to NOT ski, after I bought her a six day lift pass. Kiel at Customer Service GRACIOUSLY refunded the unused ticket... no issues. He was SO NICE and UNDERSTANDING about it!!! And sadly, I had the opportunity to meet... More

If you love skiing and testing your self this is the place for you. Long steep and Challenging terrain. Plenty of options for all skier types however the stronger experienced skier will get most out the mountain. Great staff very friendly and helpful. I was a little surprised at how many Aussie's work at Kicking Horse. staying up the mountain.... More

Kickinghorse January 2017 has little snow to provide any intermittent/beginning runs to ski. What is left is Steep, unpacked, treed, off the cliff skiing. And all the mountain leads to the packed trail to provide a run out for those skiers. How many times can you do the same run...that is the cat track from the top to the bottom.... More

Kicking Horse is a more challenging resort than, say Big White, but we had good snow conditions but dress warmly in January - it was -23C on our visit.

This place has the best powder skiing I have ever experienced, still fairly unknown to people out with Alberta , B.C or U.S, but a great resort, quality facilities, bars, resteraunts, accomodation and instruction, a jewel in the B.C. Crown.

We decided to spend the holidays skiing through the Rockies and our third stop was the Kicking Horse resort. Having driven by the resort on the highway for years we decided to give it a shot, and we weren't disappointed!! The hill was great, lots of snow for early in the year. Once up the gondola we had plenty of... More
