Rail museum is a work in progress, fascinating to see the restoration work on the rail cars. Excellent tour available and self guided tour let’s you see fossils and life in Cranbrook

The museum and rail car tour is interesting and informative. The train guide was informed and capable. The museum has a few interesting exhibits.

We hadn't really left much time to visit so only paid the admission; no guided tours this time. At $8.40 for two of us (adult/senior), it was a great deal. And, after seeing the displays I know it would be worth paying the additional fees...More

This museum is worth seeing. The admission is reasonable and there is a lot to see. Great displays, with lots of historical artifacts and exhibits.

We did the grand tour of all their cars and it was a very interesting tour. Also the price was very reasonable. Maybe not the best place for kids, other than the model train exhibit, but adults will enjoy it.

They offer three levels of tour from 1-2 hours. Also allow time for the station museum.
