Took the 1 1/2 hour guided tour through the three trains. . . amazing restoration and interesting history. This is great, even if you aren't a train or restoration buff.

This is a great museum. The local history portion and the model railroad are free and accept donations. There is also an excellent guided tour... several actually. We did all of them. The tours are of old railway equipment in various stages of restoration. What awesome equipment! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the museum, and we highly recommend visiting.

The Museum (or Trains Deluxe as they have branded themselves) has a large display of vintage rail cara. I am sure the displays are impressive but they make it way too hard to visit. Instead of being able to browse the rail cars you must take escorted tours. They are offered only at specific times. More confusing is there is... More

Only took the short tour this time, but this is the 3rd time we have been there. It's unbelievable what they have accomplished restoring these rail cars. Hurrah for Canada for bringing those cars back to life.

Our "conductor" Kazmir was a lot of fun. He was afraid of ghosts and knew all his facts. He was a bit sarcastic, but that's okay! We did the full tour at student price which was amazing. $10 for over an hour of guided tour is a deal! Staff were all super friendly and helpful and the trains were really... More

We found the museum to be well laid out with a variety of things to look at. Yes they may have many spots for donating money....but you must consider that things like this are very poorly funded. Plan to visit again in the near future.
