Fruit wines and ciders from their own trees and vast blueberry fields. It's lovely to stroll the acres, the tasting room is very low key and attractive, sometimes sharing the space with local artists. Lots of samples! Great hosts, yummy dessert wines.

Stopped by the Blue Moon Winery for tasting of their fruit ciders. Loved & bought the 2013 Apple Cider. Toured the beautiful Dahlia & Sweet Pea garden. Gorgeous flowers! A warm welcoming and very satisfying visit.

Who knew there were so many kinds of fruit wine and that some of them are darn delicious? We had everything from Plum raspberry, asian pear, blackberry, blueberry, and some combos in formats from "wine" to more of a port type product. The servers were...More

Unlike other wineries, Blue Moon uses fruits and berries rather than grapes. The blueberries are grown on the property. I expect raspberry and blueberry wines to be too sweet but these wines were perfect! I purchased several blends and a Port style Raspberry. The proprietors...More

What a great stop. Just a few minutes from Courtenay. A beautiful Orchard, wonderful tasting and terrific hosting by Marla. A truly wonderful afternoon when combined with a stop at Nymph Falls.
