We took the Comox Glacier Tour with 49 North Helicopters this week and it was nothing short of incredible. All the staff were great, especially our pilot Josh. I'm really glad I decided to add the 45 minute stop on a remote mountain to the tour. It really made the trip extra special to be able to spend some time exploring such a remote spot. We got some incredible photos and memories that will last a lifetime.

We had an amazing trip on our Comox Glacier Tour. What a beautiful nature. Amazing lakes, each a different kind of blue. It was a very special moment for all of us. Our pilot made more than a good job. We felt very comfortable kind of entertained. Bastian flew the helicopter in amazing areas. Every single moment was a joy. We are from Germany and it was great more to learn about the Nature and the people and the way of life on Vancouver Island. Thanks Bastian for making this moment so special.

We were lucky enough to be able to book with 49 north on our wedding day.
Bastion our pilot and Erin Wallace our photographer picked us up at April Point on Quadra island and whisked us away to a mountain top to do our wedding photos.
This entire experience beyond exceeded our expectations.
We would highly recommend.

I love riding in helicopters and this ride did not disappoint AT ALL!! The weather was perfect and Josh was the perfect pilot. Friendly, easygoing and a pleasure to be with. I bought this ride as a 65th birthday gift for my husband and he was thrilled. It was awesome! Would I recommend this to anyone else? Absolutely!

We had josh as our tour guide he was amazing saw some beautiful scenery stopped on top of the mountain and the view was amazing and the pack lunch he got for us was really nice and a big selection of food I definitely would recommend this company.

August of 2023 was the second time we’ve used 49 North Helicopters.
Last year was up Desolation Sound and this year was on a Mountain Glacier. Josh was our pilot this year, and his professional approach and humour was amazing. We were delayed by weather, but the office girl (forgot her name Emily?)
made sure we were getting a great experience.
Josh even called us personally when he arrived back from a trip to the same area we were going to say it wasn’t worth the time as visibly sucked.
We’d do it again. We met the owner and I had to commend him for the staff he has.

Incredible flight with Zak who gave us an experience over Desolation Sound that we will never forget. From our initial enquiry right to us leaving the site we were treated with endless kindness, impeccable service and as valued guests. We felt safe at all times in the air and were treated to indescribably beautiful views. Thanks so much.

I took my husband on a tour of the discovery passage as a birthday surprise, and it was a big win. 49 North were very professional. They scheduled the flight for a time and date that suited us and made sure everything went smoothly. On the day we were greeted by our pilot Josh, who was very pleasant and had excellent knowledge about the area. The flight itself was very smooth and we got to take lots of lovely pictures and videos. Would definitely recommend this your if you want to experience the islands from above

Our trip to the mainland glaciers was just the most amazing thing I've ever done! From start to finish, our pilot Manny made it the best experience! I still can't believe I stood on a glacier!

My son recently used 49 north as a destination wedding. We ended up using 3 helicopters for us to go on an adventure that took us to a plateau with incredible views!!
The pilots were all very professional and incredibly nice and took themselves away while the ceremony and pictures were done.
I can't thank the enough and recommend them, their professionalism, kindness such a great time in the air!!

Best to contact 49 North directly. Not sure they have a helicopter big enough for 5 + pilot. We were 4 + pilot.
