Local told us about the Chainsaw Carvings and to stop on our way to downtown Campbell River. Amazing artworks!! Great attraction with no cost. It was raining but it was a wonderful spot to stop and see the carvings. It is a nice spot to stretch our legs for a minute and we found a cafe close by,, Sundance Java Bar, with tripadvisor suggestions.

Albeit this park may be considered small by some, it has a lot to offer. The beach is fantastic to explore, especially during low tides. There is lots of parking on the south end, with many places to sit and enjoy the breathtaking views. Well worth the stop, and as an added attraction, there are many chainsaw carvings throughout to view and take photos of.

This is the beginning or ending of the a seawalk hike, but you can go beyond. It is the terminus where you get to see all the wood carvings from the Transformations of the Shore competition in late June...Awesome!

This beautiful park is simply amazing. Situated along the sea walk , besides what’s been previously stated before, they just held their annual wood carving competition and I had the great honour to see these works of art up close and personal. Truly a must see exhibition, while you enjoy the spectacular ocean views. Some great works of art.

A little to find, due to its small size and the vegetation covering the sign; but, going south, look for the small parking lot at the end of the green space just south of Hilchey..Great place to park and start the Rotary Trail, which travels north for some considerable distance.

This park marks the start of the sea walk and is located right across from the Tim’s in Willow Point. It is home to the chainsaw carving contest on the July long weekend and the carvings remain here all year round. It’s a small park with picnic tables and benches, and easy access to the beach. A good place to wander with a coffee.

I wish they would improve the parking lot with asphalt or small rock nothing but dirt and holes now. Also clean up the cigarette butts. It's a beautiful place but seems neglected
