This is an excellent stop to learn about the history and economy of the area. Exhibits are as professionally displayed as in large city museums. Nice gift shop. Good value for entrance fee.

We very much enjoyed this museum. The First Nations displays are beautiful and powerful. The history of the fishing and logging industries interesting. Enjoyed the short film on Ripple Rock.

Had a bit of time to kill so went in for a gander. Particularly found the Gum boot Navy and treatment of Japanese fisherman in WWII of interest as that was an area unknown to me.

One to two hours. Most of the history was a review of what I already had knowledge. If you are new to Canada West Coast tho you may want to take longer.
