Our vessels are heated, covered high speed cabin cruisers, with an onboard washrooms, to keep you warm and dry on those WET COAST days! Our Whale Watching and Marine Wildlife tours are a great way to experience our Wild Coast. We also offer Water Taxi service...have that sweet destination in mind? We can take you there!

We had an incredible whale watching touring at the end of September. The boat had an indoor cabin to keep us warm and dry, and an outdoor deck for wildlife viewing. Our captain David was very knowledgeable about the local area and his instincts for tracking the whales were fantastic. We saw orcas, humpbacks, and lots of noisy sea lions on Mitlenatch Island. Thanks Adventure Quest for a wonderful experience!

We booked a 3h whalewatching Tour with Adventure Quest.
David & his wife welcomed us warmly. David gave a short explanation, were we go, which kind of animals we maybe could see, how safety on board works.
We were very lucky that we saw so much on this tour, like for example Orcas, Humphrys, Sealions, Kormoran….
It was an outstanding Tour, together with David, who had so much to tell. Realy a cool guy who knows how things work. Everything was perfect & worked fine, booking, tour, wheather, booking the fee.

We went with Adventure Quest at the end of the season in September. Dave skippered the boat, a covered aluminium boat so warm, and within 20 mins of leaving harbour introduced to the first of 11 encounters with Humpback Whales, some breaching, some slapping with fins. He showed us Seals, Sealions, Guillemots and a Bald Eagle. A truly excellent trip.

David was awesome! Explaining sooo much and he was able to find seals, sea lions, humpback whales and even orcas! We loved and enjoyed it very much!

Dave and Peggy were very friendly and receptive. Dave was very knowledgeable and was more than willing to share his experiences with us. We really liked the fact that the vessel was small, and covered. It held 12 people, and there was ample space on the outside to get out to view the wildlife.
It was evident that Dave is passionate about what he does, and he has a tremendous respect for nature and the animals in our beautiful country.
We were able to see Humpbacks, Orcas, harbour seals and many sea lions. It was truly an amazing adventure.
Thank you Dave and Peggy, you are awesome people.

The boat was comfortable. The guide was friendly, good natured, humorous and so knowledgeable. We saw humpbacks and an orca and enjoyed being on the water. A wonderful tour!

We had a wonderful time out on the water with Adventure Quest. David was an awesome tour guide and captain. He provided a lot of information about the whales, other wildlife, and the area. He has entertaining stories about his experiences with specific whales that frequent their waters every year. We saw humpbacks and an orca. Even with a little rain, the whole experience was great from start to finish!

Fabulous tour and great tour guide! We saw many humpbacks and got some good photos and videos of them. David was very friendly and informative and took us to some really cool out of the way places. Highly recommended!

We went on a whale-watching tour on August 12th. It was fantastic! Our captain steered us into a feeding circle, we were mugged (2 whales swam underneath the boat) a whale paused next to our boat. The captain was funny, and informative. All in all we had a fantastic tour! Highly recommend doing this tour.

We experienced a very impressive whale watching tour with Adventure Quest Tours. Our tour guide David explained us the life of these interesting marine mammals in a respectful way. He was concerned at all times to ensure safety while still making it a once in a lifetime experience. Before and after the tour, the local and time schedule was explained to us in detail on a map. Pacific Coastal Airlines has direct flights from Vancouver to Campbell River. We recommend that you come the day before as this trip is very difficult to do as a day trip from Vancouver. The boat departs Campbell River at 10:00 a.m. for the Grizzly Adventure, duration is 8 hours, and we provide lunch and refreshments. Covered boat. You are protected from the rain and spray and when you spot whales you are able to go out on the front and back decks.

just wondering what sort of wildlife is around at the beginning of july which is when i am heading over from nz? i guess it is a bit early for bears?
