This is a small centre, but it has lots of good travel information They also have various touristy tee shirts, etc.

Being a Wednesday, we still checked that the centre was open, as we understand that many centres do close or have reduced hourse during the slower tourist months. But we were more than happy with the service provided. She could not have been more helpful in giving us the information we needed for not only Campbell River but in the area around Mount Washington.

Spent $10,000 on a trip and arrive to find they only open some days each week. Maybe just close down tourism in Canada as this is shockingly bad. The public toilets were foul. This is like a 3rd world country

We're sorry to have missed the chance to assist you. Our operational hours historically reduce in the fall due to decreasing visitor numbers and the loss of our seasonal staff. We continue to monitor our social channels 7 days a week 9am-5pm. If you find yourself in this situation again we recommend reaching out this way as someone is always listening. We will pass on your concerns about the public washrooms to the City of Campbell River.

We were very disappointed by the agents recommendations most of which she said she had never visited. Quadra Island needs their own visitor center.

We're sorry to hear your experience was disappointing, we strive to train our staff to be knowledgable about Campbell River and the surrounding communities, but we are a large region and it can be difficult to include everything. Next year during our training we will add a larger Quadra component. For future reference, while Quadra does not have a full-service information centre there is a small kiosk in Quathaski Cove with tourist information.

I stopped in one day to look at the gift shop section. I didn't end up buying anything but they had a good if small selection. I overheard a woman being helped and the staff were very friendly.

Had a number of questions about obscure issues, but they didn't faze the two young ladies on duty that day. Able to confirm one site I wanted to see had closed a few years ago (probably why I couldn't find it) and provided a great aerial map of the trails I wanted to try. If they didn't know, they found it on the computer immediately. Great work, ladies.

We arrived at the visitor centre as we'd been unable to find any signage to the local campground. Turned out they were way out of town. The staff at the visitor centre were very helpful in discussing options and even a couple of recommendations. We were also able to access the internet to make an online booking. One of the most helpful visitor info centres we've come across..
