Very well designed trails, ponds and streams. Safe from being accosted by "street people". Well maintained with plantings seasonally up-dated.

Staying at hotel nearby so explored the park two mornings while hubby was at meetings. Great trails, wide and well kept plus lots of fun little side trails..Very popular park, wheel chair accessible, dog walkers, speed walkers, families feeding the ducks, runners, and people doing 3 types of Tai Chi. I noticed Lawn bowling and horseshoe pits. Basically clean but... More

Nice park to ride a bike or to take a leisurely walk. Also there is a work out course if you need a quick work out. There are two ponds, creek, stadium, horse shoe pit, pitch and put, and outdoor pool (only open in summer).

Central Park is designed for all ages. From exercise equipment along the trails. Trail designed for joggers and those just feeling an amble is sufficient for today. There is a large sports arena which is used for many sports for schools, Statuary Holiday celebrations for many different ethnic occasions. Large ponds filled with birds and large and small fish. Every... More

Stanley Park is, of course, more well known. Central Park, which sits just outside Vancouver's boundary (actually next to Boundary Road!) is the oxygen creator for both Burnaby and Vancouver. Lots of ground to walk. Also offers a 9 hole pitch and putt! Great place to have a family picnic!

My daughter and I arrived in Burnaby after a drive from the Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal and needed a place to breathe out after facing the city traffic. I remembered Central Park from the years that my Mom had lived nearby, so we found the entrance off Imperial. Parking the vehicle, we were charmed to see a pond, ducks and... More

We enjoy visiting here for a quick walk in the trees even though you are still in the city. We also enjoy using the golf pitch and putt that they have here. Avoid this place if you are scared of squirrels as it is crawling in them. Grey, black, brown and bushy. Everywhere you look.
