Visited SFU today...after the great snowfall of Feb 3-5, 2017. What a winter wonderland! The drive up Gaglardi and onto the campus is postcard perfect with snow covered trees and buildings. Walked around the campus, the walkways are well maintained and safe. Brisk wind coming off the mountains...burrrr! Terry Fox is dressed in his winter scarf, the quad empty and... More

It was a very short trip with only half of the day to roam Burnaby, and although this was not my first plan, I've decided to just visit it because my bus was going there anyway. Just like Burnaby, I love that it's in the midst of nature! <3

The school buildings are cool and the Academic Quadrangle around the reflection pool is a lovely area. The trails around the mountain are nice. The views from the campus are beautiful too.

It's got a decent student union and dorms and is a little bit smaller compared to UBC. It also has a football field but it is exactly similar to American college stadiums, similar to a... More

I worked at SFU for 6 years. It is an amazing place to watch people, the buildings new and old, good spots to have a bite.

My cousins & I went to The Ilia Restaurant for my Birthday Dinner. The weather was great & we ate on their patio. Great food & good service. First time dining there. Will definately go back.

If you have time, please do visit this campus. Without a car, it is difficult and time consuming to get to SFU. Therefore, rent a car and spend a few hours exploring this campus.
