Aldergrove park Is a nice park to hike and enjoy nature. We have lived in the area for many years and have extensively enjoyed it. We also ride our horses in the park frequently. Unfortunately people without horses tend to park in the equestrian parking only area. You're better to go early to avoid not being able to park your truck and horse trailer.
Also, I'm becoming increasingly concerned about the people with baby strollers on the designated horse trails, but more so of the cyclists on the horse trails. I know it's a multi use trail, but the cyclists tear around the trails at high speeds and do not follow the rules to slow down and or walk their bicycle when encountering horses on the trails. What is it going to take, a collision for this to change and/or improve for all can enjoy the park without worrying about a potentially deadly accident ?! I"ve had several close calls and it has been quite frightening. Why do cyclists think they're so entitled to use the trails themselves?!! They either need to respect the fact the trail is multi use and when they encounter horses, to stop until the horse has safely passed them or they need their own trails, not shared with horse riders!!!

Had great relaxing and fun time yesterday with some friends on the horse back and it is been awhile since I had ridden on a horse , what a beautiful huge safe trail in Aldergrove , lot of option with bilking , walking and horse back riding , also hiking with 8 trails to choose from , great for solo or family place to go , close to U.S border , may be a Victor Day long weekend holiday , no crowd or not many people on the trail and so peaceful ,

This is a beautiful local park in Aldergrove with walking, biking or horseback trails.

Trails range from 6 to just over 3 kilometers and there is a Nature Discovery area.

Views of Mt. Baker and assorted wildlife can be found here including beavers.

Note-fishing is not allowed in this area, but there is much to see and discover at this great local park.

Lots of parking and great signage. The trails were very well maintained and the side trails were excellent. Some great views of the area. Will be back.

This little park is very pretty and a nice walk through many different natural habitats. It is peaceful and a nice place to bring family to get re-connected with nature.

I have been riding my horses in this beautiful park for nearly 20 years. It has been getting frustrating for truck and trailer parking due to so many people without horse trailers parking in the equestrian only parking lot . There are multiple parking lots for pedestrians and cyclists and only one for horse trailers , would be nice if people obeyed the clearly posted horse trailer only parking signs . I’ve also had a growing issue with off leash dogs for n the trails where it is clearly marked on leash . One of my horses will kick dogs and I would feel awful if he hurt one , but it is the dog owners fault for having them off leash in a clearly marked on leash only shared trail . Also had a increasing number of cyclists not following the posted sign rules of the trails to yield to horses. My husband proposed to me on horseback at the look out meadow overlooking Mt.Baker and the border.

Good old metro Vancouver decided to remove the swimming area that was always full of families during the summer. Then to cover their tracks, they removed the word Lake from the name. Great walking trails and awesome horse trails. Excellent parking for walkers in the north lot, and great trailer parking off 272 for the horse trails. Still good just sadly they took away the element that brought in the young families. Again another government body listening to the millennial marshmallow’s.

Great place for a hike - upgraded trails for the little ones had little signs of the flora and fauna - the “lake” is no longer and in its place is a nice park for the kids. Other trails are great for a hike or walking the dogs.

This large family friendly park has something for all ages. Children have an interactive Nature Discovery outdoor learning area; equestrians have trails to enjoy riding; hikers can enjoy many trails of different levels; families can have large gatherings at multiple event sites. Enjoy a taste of nature not far form the city.
