This was a highlight of my trip to Drumheller. Seeing the badlands on horseback is an experience I will never forget! Conway and Lindsay are awesome. Conway taught great lessons to help me get over my nervousness and gave me confidence. The horses are so gentle and calm. Lindsay is such a knowledgeable guide. She knows so much about the landscape and we saw fossils and dinosaur bones on our trek. They have trail options depending on rider experience, I choose the flatter terrain. The views are fantastic. I would definitely go back!

My partner and I rocked up to Willow creek adventures after making a booking for a trail ride that morning - the fitted us in with out a question. I am an experience rider but my partner had never sat in a horse and I was a little worried the ride would be more tailored to him and a little boring. Couldn’t have been more wrong! Not only did Conway and Lindsay spend the time teaching my partner how to ride and making sure he was comfortable, they also tailored to my experience level. We opted for the 3 hr ride and we were quickly getting lost in the Drumheller valleys, discovering dinosaur bones and learning about the geography of the area - so cool! Conway and Lindsay were so relaxed and accomodating, they even allowed me to go for a few canters, all the while ensuing my partner was comfortable and safe - he was all smiles! The pics that Conway took of us on the horses are spectacular! If thinking about booking in, don’t hesitate just do it!

This was our second ride with Willow Creek Adventures, although the first for our 14 year old son. As per the first time, we had an absolutely amazing ride. Our son rides daily, but this ride had him grinning from ear to ear and he talked non-stop about it for several hours afterwards. The horses are great and the guides ensure that novice riders are well looked after, whilst providing plenty of excitement and challenges for experienced riders. We have ridden at many trail riding centers over the years, but this is undoubtedly by far the best!

Myself and my two children had an amazing sunset trail ride with Conway and Lindsay. As novice riders, they were very patient and helpful, but gave us the confidence at the end to try some trotting and cantering up and down hills. The views in the area are stunning and left us with fond memories of a truly great Drumheller experience.

We made a last minute reservation with Conway and Lindsay for our family of 3 to take an evening trail ride. We essentially had zero horse riding experience. When we arrived, we let them know our 14 year old daughter was reluctant and had been bucked off a horse several years ago. They took extra time to get her comfortable with her horse and controlling him in the arena area before we headed out on our ride. It was the perfect blend of trail ride experience, gorgeous terrain, and bits of information about the flora, fauna, and fossils of the region. The photos Conway sent to us captured the experience and a couple will be great Christmas card photos this year! I'm so glad we decided to go for the trail ride, and would not hesitate to do it again when we're in Calgary in the future.
