Got my Daughter a groupon for this in Feb. then Tommy took over.my Daughter booked a week ahead as rules told them about groupon guy said only after 11:00 which we knew. Her and 5 friends drove 1:45 minutes from Calgary got there and they would not accept groupon. Her and her fiends paid 170.00 per couple. Shame on DTGC for not accepting groupon when you bought the place. Disgusting business man and CHEAP. Thanks Tom never back.

We went on a groupon, heard great things about this course. Heard the first nine was basically the same as most, but the back was very hard, eats balls like crazy but is very picturesque! And very true, we actually stopped keeping score at hole 10, impossible! Very nice, very unique, very hard (we are casual players). Love they provide a cooler bag for drinks. Would like to go back.

Drumheller is located in the Red Deer River Valley of central Alberta. It is an area rich in history. Large numbers of dinosaur fossils have been unearthed in the valley and this is showcased in the town and in local museums. More recently First Nation peoples, pioneers, miners, ranchers, farmers, and others have added to the story of this region. We spent an afternoon driving the roads of the valley using a smart phone app called Gypsy Guide. The Gypsy guide apps are cordinated with GPS coordinates so as you drive along the app delivers a verbal narrative of the significane of that paticular location. The apps also provide navigation required to stay on the designated route. We saw and learned about dinosaurs, local history, ghost towns, abandoned mines, and beautiful landscapes. Very enjoyable to learn and view a beautiful part of Alberta. Routes can be started, stopped, and resumed as needed. There are different routes that can be taken and combined to fit time available.

Just played the front nine this morning. Course is in healthy shape. Greens are true n well manicured. Couple with false front n backs which is nice to see. Tree come into play on most holes so your drives should be true. Some water will come into as well. Bunkers were very muddy. Apparently had a good storm night before. Nice course not too difficult. Great to see the younger kids playing as well. Would play again.

Had a great time golfing here. While the front 9 is parkland riverside style and makes for great scoring it's the back 9 that will keep me coming back. Imagine golfing during the Jurassic Period. Superb fairways and greens. And if you can concentrate on making your shot with stunning vistas to distract you just might get around with some golf balls left in your bag. Staff were great. Friendly. Efficient. Great food. Definitely worth the trip AND we'll be back.
