Amazing views

Worth the short drive. We loved the views and were amazed how you could be in flat Alberta and when you hit the badlands these beautiful valleys appear

The canyon is absolutely breath taking! The information signage was also very interesting and provided a great insight into the area! Well worth stopping at!

Amazing views, took my breath away. Skip the museum and see the natural sights that Drumheller has to offer . Next time I come here, I am packing hiking shoes and going down into the canyon for an adventure !

I went to the look out point. Pretty awesome view. Neat how the place got its name. Horses disappear then reappear with new brandings. You can walk down I chose not to as I am fat and inclined to climb hills any more :) bring your camera.

The view was one of the most amazing things I have seen. I could of stayed there for hours but it was a little chilly.

We had a great hike! This hike can be easy or harder depending on the route you take. There is lots of parking at the top of the canyon and actually, it would be a nice place for a picnic! You can hike down into the canyon and go quite far! There are lots of small caves, great rock formations,... More

From the top edge the views are incredible. If you are able there are a few trails to hike as well. although the hiking is not for the faint of heart. A must see if you are in the Drumheller area.

Went here after visiting the Royal Tyrrell Museum on a hot Saturday afternoon as it was a quick 10 min drive further north of Drumheller. The views were spectacular from the edge of the canyon and easy to get to as there was a parking lot right next to the lookout. We didn't do any hiking in the canyon as... More

We just stopped by the viewpoint late one evening. It's stunning, and with the sun setting, the color was magnificent. Had we planned better, we would have left time to explore the trails a bit, but it was close to bedtime for our young kids and they were tuckered out from the museum. Don't pass by!
