It's worth walking this bridge just so you can say you did it! Metal suspension bridge with a lot of support wires to keep it steady - none of which work that well! Sign clearly states "20 people max", but there were at least 40...More

Like the hoodoos, this is a good place to check out and go for a short walk. Some may find the height scary.

Earlier this month i took the pleasure of a short holiday on a very tight budget...and had promised Drumheller to my family for many years ongoing and this was the year finally! As our adventure was coordinated to see the famous museum of course this...More

A suspension bridge is always a fun experience for myself & my kids. There wasn't a lot to do on the other side of the bridge beyond hiking, but walking across the bridge itself was awesome. Its kind of unnerving having a swaying bridge that...More

A short drive outside Drumheller is this FREE suspension bridge over the Red Deer River. It's not particularly high, but it's about 100 metres across and offers nice views over the river and toward the hills. There's also areas to picnic and some interpretive information...More

This is a nice little stop while exploring the Drumheller area. We enjoyed walking across the river while the suspension swayed beneath our feet 😀 There are also restrooms and I believe a couple of picnic tables at this location. People were swimming in the...More

Enjoyed the walk across the bridge with it bounce, and a little swaying. It gets moving a bit with the amount of people crossing at one time. The hiking up the hills on the other side provides one with another enjoying experience as well as...More

We visited the rose dale suspension bridge. It was a neat bridge to walk across and the old leftovers of the mine on the other side are neat. Wear proper shoes if you want to hike around the other side.

I imagine it would still be safe to go on the bridge but I would not venture past it on the other side. The metal will likely be slippery so I would advise caution.
