The view from here is AMAZING! There are hiking trails all over but make sure you wear sturdy shoes. It's worth while to flip to the Orkney Viewpoint to see the river from the other side. It was really windy so dress for the weather

A must see!!! So beautiful to see. It’s not far from town and you can go for so wonderful hikes! The views are incredible and the history of the area is really cool also!

If you have some time and good footwear, make your way into the canyon and wander around. It is a great experience to be in the canyon imagining what it must have been like when the dinosaurs were there.

Driving along the prairies and vast fields of the area, then coming across this incredible canyon is amazing. And if you’re not tight on time, head on down to explore from below (you could even have a unique picnic!)

We stayed at the campground and had a wonderful time! The staff were super friendly and helpful! We decided to hike the hoodoos instead of the Canyon but it looked quite nice and easy to navigate. I would recommend checking it out.
