Perfect place to go for horse riding! What started with fast, detailed and friendly communication, continued with a warm welcome, a very nice little tour and a bit of a riding lesson. Not to mention all the good insider tips we got what to do and visit for the rest of our holidays. It ended with that my daughter (6)... More

Liz is amazing! She helped me find a bus from Granada to Illora, picked me up and dropped me back again. She is so friendly, with great advice on horses and it was good, as I haven't been riding for many years. I did the 1 day tapas trail and because there were no places for tapas open when I... More

we had a wonderful, relaxed experience with Liz and her dad, Ray. we prebooked a breakfast picnic ride which lived up to it's name. we got to meet the horses and spend time grooming and preparing the hoses for what turned out to be a lovely, lazy ride through wonderful countryside. the ride and picnic were enhanced by the easy... I booked a horse riding trip for my wife daughter and myself for april 9th. I paid 160€ in advance. That very day, april 9th, I received a message that the weather was to bad to take the horses out. Liz asked me if we could come on another day. I answered the message and asked if it was possible... More

We came here for my birthday , unfortunately it was quite chilly and and very windy, but despite the ever changing weather the ride out still happened :) we were given time to meet the horses, groom them and chat to the owner. Nothing was rushed as it usually can be at some riding schools in England! The ride was... More

I am an Endurance rider in Australia and was looking forward to horse riding in the Sierra Pelada and I was not disappointed. I spent two hours riding through olive groves on the side of the sierra hills, riding an Arabian mare who much preferred to run and who was I to stop her. Once we got the measure of each... More

We found Sierra Pelada by accident on the internet but what a wonderful find. We were staying near Zagra (about an hour away towards Seville) but there wasn't anywhere closer that offered such a range of riding for both the experienced (my daughter, 14) and novice (me, nearer 50) rider. Liz is English but has lived in Spain for over... More

We decided to give this place a try after looking for horse riding schools in the area (we live about 40km away) Booking and contact were great and Liz sent us a google maps link which were able to open and drive straight there without any fuss. We started by grooming the horses and getting to know them a bit... More
