So this must be one of them! Not a big place, but a pleasant surprise to find that admission is free. Some beautiful works to be seen and a pleasant place to visit for 30-45 minutes. The parking situation could be better, but hey not insurmountable. If you like art then definitely a place to check out.

An eclectic collection of everyday narratives from around the world. This International collection of artworks documents the social, cultural, political and religious, situated in the narrative of the artist, it offers a fresh perspective on 'living' life. The gallery is situated for easy access and the gallery staff were only too happy to explain the narratives behind the paintings.Recommend Highly

This free museum is part of the Visual Arts Center in Magog and is well worth a stop, especially if you like naive or primitive art (usually characterized by "childlike simplicity" and bright colors). There were three rooms: one devoted to naïve paintings, one to very detailed miniature dioramas, and one to paintings and sculpture in a competition (the art in the last room was not necessarily naïve). Although the diorama exhibit is gone now, it looks like they have other interesting exhibits coming up. Go to their website to see if anything interests you.

There was a friendly and enthusiastic receptionist/intern who gave us a guided tour (we were the only ones there). The tour added to the experience but is not necessary to enjoy the museum. You can see everything in under an hour, but if you like this type of art you may want to spend more time.

Although the museum is free, we put $5 in the donation box because it was so enjoyable.

This is a great little museum, half of which is devoted to local work (which is for sale) in a variety of styles, and the remainder dedicated to a special exhibit, currently a collection of work by the talented artist Rajka Kupesic. Definitely worth a visit!

A new show was being hung. It looked interesting. We missed the large exhibition which ended Sunday. Oh well there's always next year.

Just a stunning but small free gallery steps to town. They had three exhibits running when we visited. I would have appreciated a little more description with the various works of art, but for a volunteer gallery, it was impressive.

Excellent folk art collection with a somewhat interesting back story. It preexisted a major donation from an American couple that really vaulted it into a new level. It’s free but they obviously appreciate donations.

I usually don't give small museums like this a 5, but this is a wonderful collection of folk art, which is a genre that we love. And, best of all, it's free!

A cool curation of naive art from Eastern Europe, the Caribbean, Latin America, and some from North America.

A lovely small collection and it's free of charge.
