Very pleasant ride with friendly crew, fair ticket price. The ride is about an hour and you can have a good view of the islands with good presentation of the boat's capitain ☺ I highly recommend this tour.

We took the 2 1/2 hour trip which was just right for us. 1 hour and 5 hour cruises also available along with evening entertainment cruises. Boats very well staffed good cafe facilities. Lovely views of some of the over 1800 islands.

Comfortable seats, calm waters, nice boat and friendly crew. Very enjoyable cruise which took us up and around Boldt Castle (you don't get to go down on this cruise!), past the homes on Millionaire's Row, the international bridge and the St Lawrence Seaway. Interesting (Pre-recorded)...More

We visited 1000 island for the first time and Gananoque Boat Line was a satisfied experience. we did not require US VISA as this cruise does not stop at any island. It does give you 360 degree view of castle.

Due to time constraints we did the one hour cruise. What we saw in that time was just marvellous. The informative commentary told us we would see about 50 (I think - memory issues!) of over 1800 Islands in the Thousand Islands. Seriously good cruise...More

My wife, child and I recently visited and did the one hour Ivy Lea tour. The tour was great, seeing Boldt Castle was pretty interesting, but we found it hard to hear the 'audio guide' of the tour over the speakers. The boat was nice...More

We opted for the hour cruise leaving from Ivy Lea and traveling as far as Boldt Castle. It provided really good views of the river and islands. The boat had plenty of covered space options as well as open deck and the monologue provided was...More

Gananoque Boat Line provide a First Class service with a variety of cruises. I had time only for the one hour cruise but that was very satisfying as it gave me a distinct feel for this section of the St Lawrence River. We missed seeing...More

Pleasant way to spend sometime on the St Lawrence and view the fascinating 1000 island area from the water, with an interesting prerecorded complementary- complete with sound effects. The boat is a reassuringly robust vessel with good view from the upper deck.

It was our first time to cruise the St. Lawrence River. Despite the high water levels everything was done safely for boarding and exiting the boat. The staff were friendly and chatted with us. The videos and commentary kept us posted as we passed various...More

The daily Boldt Castle trip is a 5.5 hour trip, which includes the journey to and from Gananoque. So you will be at the Castle just Nader 3 hours. The water level is currently very high so the boat house is out of bounds.

Can't decide between the 1hr cruise and the 2.5 hr "Lost Ships" tour. Looks like the 1hr cruise travels south and the 2.5hr trip travels north. Any suggestions? Thanks!
