Our guide was informed and went out of his way to make sure everything had a good time, from answering questions about the history of the 1000 islands to trying out his Greenland Paddle: It’s an easy way to see some of the islands and get exercise to boot.

My wife and I took a half day kayak trip and we had an amazing experience. Our guide for the trip was Andrew, and he provide thorough, expert guidance and advice. The kayaks, paddles, life jackets and all equipment provided was all recently sanitized and in very good condition. We were instructed on how to paddle the correct way, and how to be safe on the water. We were fortunate to have great weather which made our experience most enjoyable. During our almost 3 hour kayak trip through a portion of the 1000 islands, our guide provide some historic facts about the islands and landmarks. We had a great time and highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to experience the 1000 islands from a kayak point of view!

We arrived for our booked slot to find the skies looking dark and drizzling. I was definitely on the fence about going, but the enthusiasm of our guides sealed the deal. They lent me a great rain jacket and we were off. It rained for the first 30 mins but it was no big deal with the coat and kayak skirt which kept you dry. Then the skies parted and the sun came out. It was an amazing time to see the islands and our guide Mark was so animated with his stories. Definitely lots of funny ad lib comments. They took fantastic pictures which they posted later online for download. My girlfriend and I loved some of the pics. This is a definite must for Gananoque!

The guided 1/2 day trip was excellent. Caleb was an excellent guide. The trip was a nice length for people who want to kayak around the 1000 islands but don't have a lot of experience. Get there early in order to find parking especially if it is a long weekend.
