If you like old wooden boats this is a treasure trove. Beautiful workmanship. There is a great interactive children's room - a must. You can also visit the workshop. Off season has very reduced hours.

A great excursion for kids who want to get their hands dirty. The exhibits were interesting and can be enjoyed rain or shine. If you are an old boat enthusiast, then this is a must see.

It's called a boat museum...only had one small boat in front. They wanted $5 each for us to come in and try to make some wood shavings with the tools they had. Thought it was a wood working shop. No they said it was a...More

Had a great experience and found the boat museum very fascinating as well as surprised at some of the boats used by earlier residents who would race small tin boats that were big enough for a small kid and would go island to island in...More

While the exhibit isn’t large it is very informative and the guides are friendly and helpful. You get a real perspective of the history of the area.

This floating and boat-house museum is a must see if you love the wooden boats from the 20s to the 60s. From smaller runabouts to big old cabin cruisers moored at the dock this place has an impressive collection.

Not as big as Clayton's (as I remember) but some well preserved boats and motors. Still had two "woodies" in the water in late Sept. Too bad they didn't offer tours of them.

My wife and I visited here on 8/15/17. I'm 72 years old and grew up around some of these wooded craft. Amazing to see working boats that are that old. Then visit the museum to see old motors and other vintage boats.

This is a small but interesting museum. A tidy collection of original and restored watercarft. The collection also includes a collection of outboard and inboard motors. Staff were very friendly.
