Well worth the money and trek BUT do not go if you are not in decent shape and can walk uphill continuously for 1 1/3 Mile and then downhill the same- wear good shoes and take your time. Getting close to the Birds was AMAZING!

As we drove down the hill into Perce there was a ring of mist around the rock which was very pretty. You can walk down and over the causeway and get up close. The town is very attractive but a little touristy.

The park is open from about 9am and the last boat leaves at 4 and then there is no one left on the island. I am not certain about closure but I assume it closes with winter weather making it to dangerous to cross by boat.
