We have been going to Mara with the grandchildren for 4 years now. Great safe beach and wonderfully sized camp sites. Added bonus Orillia a wonderful town close by.

Great family beach area for a day trip. Really nice scenic drive, good size beach area, lots of picnic tables and shade area and lots of sand area for the kids to play. Even has a small park area for the kids.

Stayed there a couple of times a couple of years back in a travel trailer. Nice smaller park with lots of shade. We prefer private campgrounds that have full service lots as it is easier for longer stays.

No. The water is too shallow along the entire shoreline of the park. However, there are some good boat launch locations near the park.
