Kingsbrae offers a nice variety of plantings in both formal and informal gardens. A nice surprise was the sculpture collection, which is found throughout the gardens and offers some very interesting work. This was a nice way to spend a few hours on a summer afternoon.

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely stroll through the gardens on late afternoon. Really enjoyed our time. We were surprised to find out that they have a military discount. My husband is US military and we both got in for free. As a Canadian who married an American- I really appreciated that the Canadians honored his US military service-... More

Kingsbrae Garden is the main attraction in Saint Andrews. I visited the gardens after they closed for the season in October. In summer these gardens must really be spectacular

Beautiful grounds, a wonderful day exploring the gardens. There is a fun play area for the kids with play houses that they really enjoyed. The goats were a hit too. My only criticism is that the plants were not labelled so we couldn't learn what the vegetation was or anything about it.

Be sure to allow several hours to tour this beautiful, well planned garden. Don't miss the sculpture garden. We were there in early October 2016 and the garden was outstanding. There is a cafe on the grounds for dining.

There was still lots of color in the gardens when we visited in early September. The entrance planting was stunning! There were many different styles of gardens to explore, including: beds of colorful perennials interplanted with Japanese maples; a formal knot garden; a sculpture garden; a heather garden (our favorite); and a petting zoo with friendly alpacas (and two cute... We only had a short time at the gardens and explained at the counter that we only had a half hour and the staff let us in for free. As it turned out a big black cloud came up with thunder so we didn't even stay the 1/2 hour. The gardens that we did see were very well kept with... More

We were told this garden was the top ten in Canada....well if that's the case it's number 10 for sure. It isn't that large. The grounds were in need of more staff pruning and weeding. Unexpected pleasant surprises were the llamas and chickens and a sculpture garden.

Best viewed in the spring or summer, but the foliage is delightful in the fall as well. There is a petting zoo for children. The gardens are elaborate and gorgeous.

Attractive grounds. We were there at the tail end of the fall season. There were still colors to be seen. There were a variety of plantings and a large sculpture garden. The outdoor sculptures represented finalists and winners of an area competition over a number of years. Many of the pieces were interesting and the setting attractive. You may also... More
