Thankfully we showed up at the right time for the touch tank (there's a timeline for the day posted at the entrance that isn't mentioned on the website) A fun activity for a 7 year old on a rainy day. The talk on belugas and other whale species is very very well done. The information panels for the displays are... More

Went to visit this while waiting for the next ferry. Didn't realize that the touch tank was only open at certain hours of the day and was a little disappointed that we wouldn't be around for the touch tank but to our surprise, the staff offered to open it a little sooner being that they weren't busy and knew we... We had read the review and were curious. We went in and waited for the tour to start. Did we learn different things about the St-Lawrence river Eco system, a great addition to the whale excursion. And the animal basin was small but there was so much information and the interaction with the animal very interesting. Both tour guides were... More

Asked the guy at admission if there was english before paying. Signage is in both languages so you can read and do self tour. We paid and went in. First impression was this place is small. If... We only saw the outside, but it looked fabulous and we wish we could have stayed an extra day to check it out.

We met people that are really passioned by nature. Excursions that we got were very knowledgeable and fun. We really loved the one around aquarium! So beautiful sea animals and plants! And we were allowed to touch them! Thank you do much!

This facility seems purposed to introduce Province of Quebec school children to the St Lawrence River. Rivière-Du-Loup has one of the best dedicated bicycle trail systems you'll see anywhere. Unless you are using it this facility is accessible only via a winding, extremely hilly, confusing, narrow, one-way road system. The display area would fit in most large motorhomes. The displays...
