Who knew that The Milner Gardens were open on Sundays in the winter? A great walk and a taste of Spring with snowdrops, crocus and some early rhodos. And a lovely mid-afternoon bite of scones and tea in the Tearoom. Make sure to check the website for hours.

We absolutely loved the experience here. It is a beautiful forest. We saw several deer and other small animals. Breathtaking views of trees and ocean. At the end, there is great soup and scones at the house. One of the best places we have been in our travels.

The grounds are spectacular with many varieties of trees and flowering shrubs. The walk along the meandering paths is very enjoyable. The tea room is wonderful ... after our walk through the gardens we had tea and scones there ... a true English treat. There is also a wonderful view of the ocean from the tea room.

Christmas was just so special for all the family. What a tremendous job on all the lights, the inside decorations and the extra effort for all the kids. looking forward to next year.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas light up - our first visit. The woodland area is creatively lit as you walk through the forest. Laser lights make several areas on the pathway very magical. Cut up/recycled water bottles are put to a very creative use in one section. The Teddy Bear/miniature train house was fabulous; the children's reading room was beautifully decorated... More

Visited here with family and a few wee ones. The lights are a fantasy; more animation would be appreciated; esp for the kids. Good improv at using things such as using clear water bottles for light fixtures; clever! Paths were quite muddy (wet). Mr & Mrs Santa were very good, taking plenty of time to converse with the kids; very... More

A great way to get into theChristmas spirit! Lots of cute light displays, Santa on site, a teddy bear room and a couple quaint gift shops. You can stop for tea in the tea room or purchase other snacks and drinks. If you park on street a bit of a hike down and uphill mostly on way up. We didn't... More

Milner Gardens has the most beautiful light display in their gardens in December. Every year is different and every year is a work of art made with love. If you are here in the summer the gardens are lovely to walk through and there is a tearoom where high tea is served every day. Delightful! You can purchase plants and... More
