Nice to see a Visitor Info Centre that's actually IN the heart of town! This one is on old Island Highway 19A, just north of Qualicum's Beach Front Park. Plenty of free parking on both sides. You can't miss the "little blue building".

Stopped in to ask for some suggestions on restuarants in the area. The gentleman suggested one that was about a kilometer down the road, but unfortunately ,it was not open. Ended up back tracking and having a nice lunch at the Shady Rest which had views to die for! Had a very informative and interesting chat about the real estate... More

Interesting older building - the washrooms are behind the main building. Centrally located in the main street.

This visitor centre is alongside highway 19A driving along the coastline en route to Campbell River. Very informative visit and is a recommended first stop before any further exploration.

Staff was amazing, I had an emergency with my toddler being stung by a pink jellyfish on the beach, she was screaming and I was panicking, I dropped by in a hurry to ask staff where is the nearest help, they explained very concisely where to go, it was a hospital/emergency clinic in Parksville, 15 min driving, it was a... Good vibes here. Knowledgeable staff, some are volunteers. Lots of free maps and brochures. Clean washroom. Crafts for sale. Right on the beach at the start from the townish side. They will let you use the computer a bit. It was Canada day and our new computer line was not yet hooked up and naturally the libraries were closed, so... More

The Visitor Information Centre is located on Hwy 19A. It is easy to find and set amid beautiful scenery. On our way to Campbell River, we made a stop there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Even when I asked them for directions to a place at the next town, they still patiently showed me the way. The office... More
