The town's main venue for community outdoor events. After a huge Reno in 2015, it is now updated and classy. The wide 3km+ boardwalk that circles the pond is the primary draw for visitors. Great spot for an after dinner walk..

This is a wonderful family and community centered park. The trail around the pond is outstanding. Mostly a board walk, the surroundings of pond views on one side and forest views on the other, makes it feel as a sanctuary. The Gander community, who came...More

This is a nice place for a walk. To walk the trail it takes about 45 to 60 mins. There are a couple of side trails. One leads to a residential area, but the walk there is though a nice area. It feels like you...More

A very easy 1 hour walk on boardwalk or gravel; a flat trail around the pond, & there is a playground. There are signs showing distance walked & distance to starting point. A highlight for us was seeing a greater yellowlegs wading in the reeds.

We stopped t this park to allow our kids a run around after driving for a few hours. Although we only walked a portion of the water front and used the playground, it appears to have very nice facilities.

After hours in the car, this was a welcomed treat. Very well groomed, perfect and wide boardwalk and paths surrounding an ample-sized pond.

Pleasant pond, nice trail to walk around it, but nothing to write home about. Would not go out of my way to stop by though it is a good place for locals to relax and kids to play.
